We use this citric acid for everything from baking to cleaning. I have a recipe for a lemon syrup for hot and cold drinks and it is adds a real depth of flavour. I have added a bit to my lemon puddings and lemon meringue pie. We like extra lemony tartness. We use it to clean off calcium and lime deposits from hard water. Citric acid is the single most useful substance in my home. I use it for cleaning, disinfecting, preserving, and I drink a tonne of the stuff with a little sweetener as a replacement for lemonade. Beyond that it can also be used for balancing pH for wine- and beer-making and softening hard water from wells. The Milliard stuff has a fine, even consistency, is reasonably priced, and comes in bulk. The zip-lock for the bags is a little finicky and makes it a pain to open and close so if you do plan on buying it I recommend you put it in your own waterproof container. But that's a small annoyance, and if you've never bought citric acid before, you'll be amazed at just how useful it is. It will probably become as indispensible for you as it has for me.

Anyone who has to deal with hard water stains should keep this handy. Anyone who has a Keurig type appliance and doesn't want to spend 10$+ on cleaning solution should keep this handy. Anyone who likes sourpatch kids candy should keep this handy. I originally purchased this to clean used ammunition cartridges, namely when brass turns black from being exposed to the elements. I then discovered it's multiple uses, and I keep this mixed in a spray bottle with a little dish soap to spray down my shower after use, which eliminates heavy water staining and keeps things clean. It's also great to keep other things clean and clear, such as the dishwasher or as a laundry booster. Really great stuff.

I use this citric acid in my homemade dishwasher detergent. It leaves my glassware clean and sparkling. I use a lot of this stuff so it’s nice to find a large sized bag for a great price! It was also delivered faster than expected, which is always a welcomed surprise:) I gave a 4 star because the bag had a couple small punctures in it that leaked a tiny amount into the box it was shipped in. Also the citric acid had started to get hard clumps in it because of this. I transferred the contents into airtight glass jars for storage and have been using since with no issues.
