This is the first mix I've used to make ice cream. I've always made my ice cream bases from scratch. The Triple Scoop Chocolate Chip flavor is pretty good.Note: I would recommend using a sifter to separate the mix from the chocolate chips. They're packaged in the same bag. After making one batch, I found the churning action caused some of the chips to dissolve into the vanilla - making it not quite vanilla. My Breville machine prompts when to add mixins, so I wait till then to add the chips I've sifted out. If your machine doesn't prompt, just wait till the ice cream is getting a little firm, then add. This way, the vanilla is a little more on target.
