I’ve been using It’s Pure Henna Red for a couple of years and love it. My hair is so healthy and shiny, and the colour is gorgeous a deep red on my medium brown hair that glows bright in the sun. It covers my greys perfectly, turning them into lovely light auburn highlights. The process takes time, but it’s worth it, especially since I react to regular dyes. This is the perfect natural option for red hair lovers!

Already used it 3 times, happy with the result! Hair is silky and shiny! First I made a very strong black tea (to get darker shade) and mixed it with powder to the consistency of Greek yoghurt, than added juice of the whole lemon and put it in a warm place for 2hrs to let it get ready. Wash your hair twice with any baby shampoo before applying, but try do not wash your hair with shampoo after you finished colouring, as the colour will develop for another 48hrs, just rinse it with lots of water. Make sure you wear gloves and put some fat (i used lard) all over your face and neck to prevent skin colouring. By the way, I would never recommend anyone to use vaseline, as you will have to spend ages trying to wash it off your skin! Cover your head with some plastic bag after applying the mixture and warm it up a bit with hairdryer every 30 minutes. So, I usually leave it for 2.30 hrs on my head. First time I tried to use the brush, but then understood that its easier to apply it just by hand until your hair soaks trough. I know, it sounds complicated, but it worth it. Good luck to everyone who is going to use it first time! P.S. : chemically bleached blond hair will give you bright orange shade (i know, as I have highlights).

I have jet black hair and wanted to see if it makes a difference to my hair.. i read one of the reviews that said they had dark hair and added lemon to the mix and let it rest for 12hours and then applied and left on for 4 hours snd their hair turned squirrel red..i added lemon and let it rest for 3 hours and then applied and left it for 3 hours .. the image is of my hair as soon as i came out of the shower.. its has a lovely reddish hue in the sun.. it has turned darker since then.. this is excellent even for dark hair!! Next time i will add the lemon and rest it for longer.. you can see that it imparts color even better when you add the lemon!
