Plug & Play
Just like the reviews say - put in the batteries and start watching tv. Not sure the video streaming buttons work? I don't use them. So happy to have a cheap solution for fixing a 2 hr+ problem of trying to get my OEM remote to work. Not sure why it fizzled out.

Didn’t work for me
Unfortunately, this remote did not work for me. One of the first things I noticed was that it is significantly lighter than the original fire stick remote. I noticed it, but didn’t think much of it at the time. But after the time spent trying to pair it, it needs to be noted, as it does seem lighter in a flimsy sort of way. It comes with a single piece of paper showing what the buttons do, but zero instructions. (Most people already know what functions the buttons do from their previous remote.) I searched YouTube for instructions to pair a new remote to my Amazon fire stick, and followed everything to the letter, including all the troubleshooting, swapped new batteries for more new batteries, unplugged and re-plugged the fire stick, reset the remote to get it back in pairing mode, etc. All of the things. And then I did them again three more times. Maybe I got a bad one and this is a fluke, but I’m returning it and will try one from another brand.

Good Replacement. Worked right out of the box.
Not sure what brand the TV is exactly. All I knew is my coworker's TV was a FireTV. We ordered this remote, and it arrived quickly in the mail. Batteries not included. We popped in the batteries and the remote started working right away. I was told some times you have to manually pair the remote after putting in the batteries but we didn't have that issuse. All the buttons worked without issues and were very responsive. This is a very good aftermarket remote.
