As a child I would get ice cream in Reading PA called Cho-Cho’s. I was told it was chocolate malt flavor, so I saw this and decided to try. It made delicious chocolate milk. I gave to my 80 year old father who loves chocolate milk and didn’t tell him what it was. He got very sentimental and said it reminded him of being a child in the 50’s. Big hit in our family!

If you are a Canadian, pay very close attention to the shipping cost. I didn't and much to my dismay I spent just under $200.00 CDN for 6 containers of mediocre malt powder. It is nothing like I remember, either.

I haven't found the chocolate flavored malt powder in YEARS. Some stores near me stock the vanilla, but I prefer the chocolate. It's exactly as I remember chocolate malts from when I was a kid in Minnesota. Great taste; slightly frothy in milk (using a blender), and easy directions. I make it with French Vanilla ice cream; and a "splash" of milk. Takes me right back to the Blue Moon Cafe in Lake City, Minnesota. Thank you, Amazon! Highly recommended.
