I think I got a dud one/possibly a return coz I was unable to disengage the rubbish container.Did not even get to try it. There was no point. I purchased this and another make at same time (other one works well), as I wanted to gift one to my sister. However, since I could not assess effectiveness, I cannot recommend product.

The media could not be loaded. This bed vacuum cleaner has a compact design and doesn’t take up much space. It’s not too light at 3.6lb, but it has wheels on the bottom so just a gentle push it.It comes with a 14.8ft long cord which is enough to clean the entire bed, even for oversized beds. Although many people prefer cordless ones. In reality, having a rope also has its benefits, so there’s no need to worry about running out of power. The 0.4 liter bin is not large, so it needs to be cleaned regularly. It’s easy to clean with no complex operations or strong/ weak modes, only one on/off key.At the bottom and sides of the vacuum cleaner, you will see UV light. Honestly I don’t know if it can really kill mites, what I can confirm is that it has a strong adsorption force and can remove allergens on the surface of fabric such as dust, hair or dander, very suitable for people with sensitive constituents, especially those who have pets.

This is a very good little UV, dustmite, hair and dust vacuum for sofas, mattresses and other soft upholstery.I was surprised at the dust and hair it picked up off my sofas and how much cleaner they looked after.Very easy to use and hold. Has blue light indicator when the head is in full contact and UV in use.Nice long lead which is great.Easy to empty, take apart and put back together.Excellent quality. Well packed.Highly recommend. The only thing I didn't like about this cleaner was that it was corded, apart from that I thought it was great in every way!Recently, we seem to have been warned of a plague of bedbugs swarming in from Europe, so anything to quash my fears an hysteria is welcome! I thought I would give this UV mattress vacuum cleaner a go. The cleaner has uv lighting, a strong suction and a high power vibration pulsating pad which works to loosen dirt and dust before sucking it up which makes the vacuum ideal for illuminating irritants and dirt which is ideal for penetrating and killing bed bugs, fleas, mites, mould, spores and so on.The lead is just under 15ft and the vacuum has a 0.4 litre dust cup. The machine is relatively light and very simple to use with all of the parts easy to remove and wash for maintenance. I have a multi pet household that share my sleeping space and so live with a lot of dander and fluff, I’ve been using this product for several weeks now and not only is it giving me peace of mind but I’ve noticed a significant positive difference in my sinuses and allergy problems… and can only attribute this change to this cleaner!It is proving itself to be an essential tool in my household now and I use it almost every day. As previously mentioned, my only negative is the cord, I would have found this cleaner far more convenient to use if it was cordless but maybe it wouldn’t be as powerful if it was cordless, so using a socket isn’t that much trouble! I appreciate that the price of this is a little high but considering the difference it’s made to my health, for me, it’s worth every penny!

But having said that it does pick up a lot of weird crumb/dust type specs, which I assume might be dust mites? It feels good quality, easy to use, lack of suction i feel makes it safe for most surfaces/versatile (including loose/hanging fabrics like curtains) because it’s not going to pull them away, easy to empty too.
