The wider grasping tip works better for lash clusters that are also wider (e.g. quarter inch) - I use lashify.I haven't tried other brands of this design, but I imagine (from experience with variable quality in regular tweezers) that some other brands could have inconsistent alignment of the tips. But these close evenly across the pinching tips, to hold the lash clusters securely while you place them. Bought a couple pairs to have at home and at work, wherever I might need to apply or reapply my lashes.

I have been searching for a long time for tweezers specifically for Volume lashes.I have many tweezers that are similar to this "boot" shape but don't work that great at all.I finally found the one that WORKS. The tip is TIGHT, precision on the grip is amazing and making my fans are now easier for me and I use to struggle so bad!!I am buying another one just in case! The price is unbeatable as well as the durability of the tweezer.I am beyond happy that I found my all time favorite tweezer that actually WORKS for volume lashes.

As a dude, my eyelashes are probably the last thing I worry about. I do, however, worry about having clean cut, strong precision reworking utensils and these things are part of the starting lineup. I haven't had a project yet that's demanded I abuse them, yet, but so far they are working great. Very sharp tips will allow you to grab pretty small components with confidence. On removal, I've used them as a springy wedge to put tension on a part as I tried to remove some through hole stuff and they did great.I do a good bit of work using 10x binocs and I can see that the tips of these are well made and aligned properly.

Great for volume

I use these for tweezing they they do a great job. Metal is strong and doesn’t warp, the edges align, not too sharp as to cut hairs instead of pulling. Much better than tweezerman

The curved tweezers work great for picking up the small beads that I use everyday to make beaded jewelry. They don't open wide but for my use with the tiny seed beads that I like best this is better for quickly picking up the bed that I want out of a group of beads. I really like these and will be using them daily in my hobby.

These tweezers have been my go to volume tweezers for a long time. Purchased a new one and THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. They’re thinner, pointy at the tip and they do NOT grip the lashes the same. Left is what they originally are right is what it is now.

For a new lash tech, it is an okay price for what you are getting. I am still looking for better tweezers, this one does the job meanwhile
