This is a must for petrol boat engines
Startron is recommended by the main dealer that sold me my Honda outboard and I have used it since the engine was new. I always put some Startron into the fuel tanks every time I fill up, no matter what the time of year because boats used for recreational purposes will inevitably sit around for weeks or months on end in-between use, and it neutralizes the gum build up that blocks injectors or carburettors. Startron has an Enzyme in it that also extends the shelf life of petrol for up to 2 years of storage, so I can always be sure my outboard will be running on good fuel bought the previous season at the start of the next.
