Brilliant litttle camera
I bought this to attach to my chimney rods as it was blocked. With this strapper to the rods i had it unblocked in no time. It really is brilliant and very handy. The image is so much clearer than i was expecting aswell.

Good enough for occasional use
On arrival the endoscope came without a charge on it, as I thought. Connected it foe charge for 4h and then came to check it. It still doesn't work..what's going on? I was so close to leave just one star as the endoscope doesn't seem to work.Checked the manual instruction and in the FAQ section where says 'product doesn't show pictures or black screen' with an answer 'remove the camera connector and reassemble, or start the device' So I did that but then something told me to check the battery box. I couldn't open it so husband helped and turned out that the battery was upside down all along, that's why it didn't work. Who expected that? But at least it works now so I can test the endoscope. What I like about it:- long cable, a whooping 10m long,- handy size, comfortable to hold in hand,- easy to navigate,- pictures in colour,- if I put sd card in it, I can take pictures and store them in the card,- 3h working time with 4h charging time,- zoom in feature- image rotation- it's portable thanks to the rechargeable battery inside- it comes with 3 on lens accessories- it's rechargeable via usb C cable, included- it comes with nice, hard shell storage caseWhy I didn't mention the image quality? Because it's average. It's just 2m pixels, so not the best, but good enough for sink investigation, car engine repairs, checking what's behind furniture, what's hidden in a floor hole, etc. I'm not sure will I be needing 10m long cable but for some cases, it might come in handy. The price is as expected for similar quality endoscope. It's good for what it is, but if you need a professional kit with better image quality, look elsewhere and the price also will be higher, for sure.

Good Value
Great value for money. Good for inspecting areas that are difficult to get into. The long cable made it possible to inspect a whole chimney, however a guide tube was necessary to stop it from getting tangled.

Stiff inflexible cable
The device itself works perfectly well and has good clear resolution. However it has a stiff, very inflexible cable making it impossible to go around corners,I needed to check for blockages in my bath drain and was able to use it find a massive hair blockage directly beneath the plug hole. Once I'd cleared that, I couldn't however get it to go round the corner to see if there were any more further down the line; unless I'm doing something wrong, but I was expecting it to flex and bend its way along the pipe.

A useful addition to any toolkit.
We used ours to check for squirrels nesting in the loft space and to locate a roof leak. I attempted to get it through the bend on a toilet unit outlet but it didn't quite get around the curve. Not for personal or medical use.

Good for general household use
Camera Quality and IlluminationThe camera quality is satisfactory for general use. It is equipped with a set of LED lights at the tip, which significantly aids in illuminating dark or hard-to-reach areas. This feature is particularly useful when working in poorly lit environments, ensuring clear visibility.Cable Design and DurabilityOne of the strong points of this inspection camera is its cable. The length is generous, allowing for considerable reach, and it's sturdy enough to be threaded through tight spaces with ease. This robust design enhances the camera's usability in various scenarios, from plumbing inspections to looking behind hard-to-move furniture.Monitor and ControlsThe monitor offers clear visibility, which is crucial for accurate inspections. The controls are straightforward, enabling easy adjustments of magnification, viewing angle, and image capture. The ability to save images to an optional SD card is a useful feature, allowing for documentation and later review.Additional AttachmentsThe inclusion of attachments like a magnet and a hook is a thoughtful addition, enhancing the unit's versatility. These small tools can be extremely handy in retrieving small metal objects or navigating through complex spaces.Build Quality and FunctionalityWhile the camera and cable meet expectations, the controls present a slight drawback. They feel somewhat plasticky and cheap, which might raise concerns about their durability over time. Another limitation is the LED lights, which only offer a binary option of being either on or off. The lack of dimming functionality can be a minor inconvenience in situations where softer lighting is preferred.Price and ValueConsidering its price point, this inspection camera unit offers good value, especially for occasional household use. It balances functionality and ease of use, making it a suitable option for those who need a basic inspection tool without investing in a high-end model.ConclusionIn summary, this inspection camera unit is a competent tool for general household use. It performs well in terms of illumination, cable design, and monitor clarity. While there are some drawbacks in the build quality of the controls and the lack of dimming for the LED lights, these are relatively minor when weighed against the overall functionality and affordability of the unit. For those in need of a basic, budget-friendly inspection camera, this product is a commendable choice.
