Can you bring batteries on an airplane?

You can bring the batteries on an airplane,but they can't be in checked baggage. Make sure the batteries aren't close to each other,if they get too close to each other. It could cause an explosion. I've seen it happen where a lithium batteries make contact and they create a bit of an explosion. If traveling with multiple lithium batteries, it's wise to try to keep them as far away from each other to prevent any possible explosions
