Drive MedicalBathtub Mat, White, Large (12950)

After reading many reviews for many bathtub/shower mats, I chose the Drive Medical Bathtub Mat. So glad I did. It is the perfect fit for my tub. Suction and stability were my major concerns and this bathmat delivered. While it doesn't look fancy as some other mats out there, it makes up for comfort, suction and quality. The larger size works well too.Since my bathtub has been redone, it was hard to find many mats that could stick to the bottom. This has worked from day one and continues to do so. I really like how it feels on my feet. Quality seems to be good, so hopefully it will last. I didn't notice any unusual smell, either. It is easy to clean and while it doesn't have drain holes, hanging it up after each shower to dry will prevent mold/mildew. I would definitely recommend this bathmat.

Updated review: As time passed, I needed to get another bathtub mat. Ordered something that was mildew resistant. Tried it in my tub but do not feel safe stepping on it. Will stick to THIS brand, which made me feel safer. FYI this one has a rubbery feel compared to a plastic-feel on the other I had ordered. THE suction is effective with this one. Just need to wash it clean it regularly; otherwise, the mildew will build up underneath. (Or is it mold?!)Does the job - no complaints. Nice and long that gives the bathtub floor a more secured feeling when you go in and out. Not every suction cup will adhere but whatever does is sufficient enough.

As a senior I’ve needed a non-skid mat for many years. I’ve tried several other models that were ok but I wasn’t happy with them. My medical insurance provider recommended this model and after using it I won’t use any other type. This mat is very safe and easy to move around.

This mat is soft underfoot, and stays in place (my tub has a glossy finish, so the suction cups work well). It is reasonably easy to pull up and rinse off after use, albeit a little unwieldy due to the weight of the rubber and the excessive number of suction cups. The reason I don’t give it full stars is that it arrived rolled up, with tape holding the roll tight. When I pulled the tape off, some of the rubber from the mat ripped off with the tape. That is a sloppy and careless way to prepare a product for shipping. But the mat is good quality for the price, and I do recommend it.

I had one of these and was happy with it. But I made the mistake of not picking it up and letting it dry afger every shower. The bottom around the suction areas got dirty and for this price, I decided not to spend time trying to clean it. I just replaced it. I've been picking this one up and rinsing it after every shower and then hanging it to dry. So far, it has stayed clean. I have to use a shower chair, and this mat is long enough to have plenty of standing room in front of it and to go all the way under the chair. Good purchase.

I purchased this for my Mom who is older and needed some stability for her showers and also bathing. Works great. I read a review that stated the mat smelled so bad due to the heavy duty plastic and I did not experience that. Out the box I cleaned it with Clorox clean up and it was a go! Great item, sturdy-great price point. When she wears this one out (eventually) I won’t hesitate to purchase this same one over again.

This is by far the best tub mat I have found and i've gone through 5 or 6 of them in the past couple years. Most get dingy and stained very quickly but this one, even though it's white, has stayed looking like new. It also sticks very securely to the tub but is easy to remove and clean.
