TRX-4M 4X4 Crawler with Land Rover Defender Body

Such a great crawler. Well worth the money. Quality is always on point with Traxxas! Pretty durable..been crashed a few times and running strong still. Quick runner & Battery life is just as it says. Fun for the kids as well!

I have several of these and i love modding them out into crazy vehicles...they're very capable and tons of fun and these are safe for inside play as they come in the box, I think they'd be the perfect thing to get anyone who's looking to get into the rc car hobby

Solid out of the box, best RTR for the price

AMAZING. I've had many RC crawlers and this is by far my favorite 1/18th scale crawler! It is so capable and taking off the body is so easy and quick. I also love that there are so many aftermarket parts and accessories for this. I plan on getting an overlanding trailer and trail equipment accessories. It has such a great build quality and I'm extremely impressed by what it can do. This will be my go-to crawler for a while, and I will end up buying two more for my sons!

Yeah, this thing is pretty bad A$$. It's expensive because, well, it's a Traxxas. Many upgrades available, super capable right out of the box. Looks awesome, great quality and packaged well. Again, it's a Traxxas so you're going to pay a premium. Just be aware of that and do your research. If you have the $$, great. Get 1 and try it out. On a budget? Lots of other options available. I only have the 1 TRX and several other "off" brands that I prefer more, simply for the quality to value ratio. Cool product though.

My son has a buddy who he shares same interest with these type of cars has one of these and had to have one. I feel it is very well made and is the coolest thing to watch. It’s a crawler so they built a huge popsicle stick track with tons of cool obstacles and it’s kinda neat. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody who loves to race cars, but when the weather is cold or raining, this one is perfect for indoor use!

This has to be the best 18th scale rig. I put on a aluminum injora lcg chassis, injora 1.0 beadlocks and tires, Injora 59mm shocks (I took out springs for more flex) and took off rear bumper for less weight

I want to be fair when writing this but it’s hard. Been in the hobby for a long time now. And honestly I’m not impressed with this crawler at all. You’re spending 180 bucks on something that you will definitely have to drop at least another 150 into for it to be somewhat good for crawling. The weight distribution is horrible to a point you will tip over almost every time you go up an incline. The servo gets caught on the frame when you start flexing it slightly. Again something you will have to invest money into to fix that issue. I love the hard body but overall it’s not worth the money for what you get out of the box. You’re just paying for the name essentially. Once you put the money into it to make it an actual crawler it can become something great.

The TRX-4M Land Rover Defender is an absolute blast to drive. Despite its 1/18 scale, the detail and build quality are excellent, and it feels very solid. The suspension and crawler performance are impressive – it handles rough terrain far better than I expected for its size. It’s easy to control, runs smoothly, and the scale Defender body looks amazing. Battery life is good, and it’s just the right size for both indoor and outdoor use. Overall, a great little RC crawler that’s fun, durable, and offers brilliant value. Highly recommended for both beginners and seasoned RC enthusiasts!

Got it as a base for my wife' build, pretty happy. On the photo is upgraded one (with Injora IR60 body, servo, motor, etc - you can get it from Amazon here). I know it's not really helpful image, but the stock one was really OK also.
