I have, what I believe, is oily skin. Like when I wake up my skin is slick with oil, and if I were to scrape it with a card I would get a tablespoons worth of oil (gross I know). My oily skin is the main contributing factor to me feeling gross most of the time, the main reason why I never leave my house unbathed. Anyway, even though this says "deep moisture" I decided to take a chance because I really wanted a NIGHT cream, since I was just using the day cream with SPF that I usually wear. The first time I put this cream on I stopped mid-application and thought "I've made a huge mistake"; creams this heavy have always been a no-no for me, they break me out horribly and I get tiny little white heads over and over throughout the day. I wasn't going out the next day, so even if I did break out it wouldn't be a big deal, so I finished putting on the cream and went to sleep.You can imagine my HUGE surprise when I woke up the next day and my face was not slick with oil. There was still obviously some oil because that's how the body works, but my face was not super shiny and slippery. I couldn't believe it. Not a single white-head in sight, not one, and no breakouts of any kind.The cream does have a petroleum jelly consistency, even when you put it on, but it very quickly absorbs and there is no oily feeling afterwards, it also smells really good!

Good for very dry skin and scalp. I use it every day and sometimes twice. It is a smooth cream that seems to sink in and enrich your skin.

This is a high-quality facial moisturizer for bedtime. It is just right-- not too thin and not greasy. It is especially helpful for extra dry or aging skin. It's often hard to find in store.

I have used this moisturizer for almost 20 years, and simply would not give it up. I not only use it at night, I use it under my makeup during the day as well. Although a bit expensive, it is worth putting on an old lady's face!

This product is a wonderful moisturizer for night time use. I use it every night and it keeps my skin very soft.

Works as well as a more expensive night time moisturizer. It's definitely a night cream though. I would think this is too "heavy" to use as a daytime moisturizer.
