I don't have a genuine article to compare it to, but the Yshy cell phone mount seems to work fine so far . I have it mounted on my Yamaha Tracer and so far it's held my cell phone without any problems. It is made from somewhat flexible plastic, so it's not brittle. Intrestingly enough, it also came with a free vibration isolator that looks just like the Quadlock vibration isolator; it was stuck in the box with the rest of the hardware. I don't know if that's a regular addition, but I was glad to get it. I deducted one star because the stainless steel handlebar mounting bolt galled in the stainless steel threaded insert, but a little oil and working the bolt back and forth seems to have taken care of it. You might want to use a little lube on your bolt when assembling it to the handlebar.

Was not expecting much for ten bucks. Pleasantly surprised works fantastic does not come off until you take it off..

Fits well and is a breeze to use. I like it at a much cheaper cost than the name brand version. So far so good.

This seemed to be an excellent purchase but after two rides the top portion that holds the phone broke. Thank goodness I didn't attach my phone after seeing it was kind of wonky that day. I would have been throughly upset to damage a 1.4k phone over a $10 investment.

This is just a knockout of the Quad Lock mount I’ve been using for several months now until the mounting screw separated from the plastic. Installation was a breeze, and the mount integrates seamlessly with my smartphone case. The added vibration dampener is a thoughtful touch, protecting my phone's internal components from the vibrations of the engine.The locking mechanism is fine and gives me confidence that my phone is secure and I appreciate the versatility of being able to switch between portrait and landscape modes.

Quality seems to be good. It's pretty heavy for being plastic. Everything seems to work as intended. Comes with the allen wrenches needed to install everything, as well as rubber inserts to match your bar size. The included damper seems legit also. It will need to be installed.OK, now my issue, and this goes for the name brand version too; if I install this on my phone, I can no longer use the phone mounts, or wireless chargers that I already own. This type of set up will cost quite a bit to convert all the phone mounts you have. I'll get a case specifically for using this mount with and swap cases when not using my phone on my bike. 4 stars for quality, I'd only give 2 because of the fact that I wouldn't be able to use any other mount, or a wireless charger, not designed to use with this.
