Converse Women's All Star '70s High Top Sneakers

Love these shoes. Been wearing them for years. I can usually get a year out of them if I don't mind a bit of fading and scuffing. Not sure if they've switched manufacturers or if I'm getting knock-offs, but the last two pair I've purchased barely made it 3 months before the bottoms began to detach from the rest of the shoe. I'd give these a five star rating if it weren't for such a low life span.

Love these shoes. Good quality, fit just right, very comfortable, and arrived quickly. I wear a 7.5 in women's, but converse are notoriously large so I got the 5 in men's and it's absolutely perfect.

I Love LOVE them! These are my second pair of converse. My last pair lasted me 15 years, therefore i needed a new pair. These are well made, fit like a glove and look awesome!The seller is great. I accidentally ordered a 7 mens and i contacted them asking to switch out to a size 6 mens. Within 2 days, they got back to me, switched out to the right size, processed / shipped them and they hit my door step.In conclusion, I am very happy with my new kicks. Hopefully this pair will last as long as my last pair did. Also, i will be buying from this seller again. 5 stars all the way around.

I really love these sneakers! They seem to be helping with my chronic plantar fasciitis which is an absolute delight considering all the treatment that I have gone through after all these years. I have an insert on the inside on the heel from Heal that pain insert and the combination is fantastic for my feet.

I've been buying these same sneakers for the past 20 or so years but the last 2 pairs I got both have the same annoying problem, they creak when I walk. Figured the previous pair I got was just a fluke but now the newest pair does the same thing, I guess they're making these somewhat differently and this is just how they are now. Very disappointing.UPDATE (5/13/19):Two months after my brief review above I purchased a new pair of these sneakers. They had the same creaking problem as the previous 3 pairs and they also lived up to the title of the review more-so than any previous pair as after almost 6 months the bottom of one of the shoes has worn out and it now gets water in it if you go outside when it’s raining (not go outside and step in a puddle, just go outside when the ground is wet and walk around...). Every pair of these wears out more or less the same with the bottom/sole of the shoe separating from the rest of the shoe, usually by the heel, until water easily gets in them, they just seem to wear out A LOT faster now; I used to be able to get at least a year out of these. Real disappointing much the quality on these has dropped since I started buying them 20+ years ago, I notice that they, of course, cost more now too.

I normally wear an 8.5, but I ordered an 8 because I read other reviews saying that they run big. They fit pretty well because my socks aren’t too thick. I do like them a lot. I am also going to order a 8.5 so I can wear different socks. They are really nice looking sneakers.

I just turned 58. I lost my big-paying editor job long ago now. I had to wear ties and slacks. Now I cover high school sports, and while sometimes I wear top-siders and a collared shirt, I resort to wearing Chuck Taylors and black jeans to sports events. I stalk the sideline shooting photos of various sports, and the shoes never fail. They're like outdoor slippers. I spend a lot of time on my feet. And sure, I groan a lot now. But my feet don't hurt. The only time I switch out the footwear is for soccer when it gets so cold my feet turn to stone. So thumbs up.

This is my very first converse I've gotten in a all black color and high top form. I'm usually a low top converse wearer but decided to try at wearing high tops for a first time. I rather like them. Although I noticed they run a little narrow at the toes unlike low tops where they run a little wider. I had to end up getting these in a womens 9 1/2 because of that. The 9 I got before was a bit snugged and thus felt a bit uncomfortable. Anyway, I like these and happy to have bought them. As they are all black they can rather go with any color outfit. 😊

Bought as a gift, daughter absolutely loves them and wears all the time. In good condition 6 months on, colour still looks good. Was unsure about the cost but it’s been very worthwhile, she’s going to wear these until they wear out, and it looks like that’s a good way off.

Have been worn and worn, and my grandson is pleased as punch with them, and I may even get him some more when they eventually wear out. Comfortable, and stylish.
