Better than you would expect
I bought this keyboard and mouse set (part number RMK709) back in June of 2018. I wanted something compact for traveling, but still big enough for my big dumb gorilla monkey fingers to be able to type on it acceptably. I'm not going to lie, it took some getting used to, but now that I am, I could not have been more pleased with the purchase. And the size is deceptive. The keyboard is the same size as the one on my HP 17" powerhouse laptop. Although my laptop has the 10-key off to the right and this keyboard doesn't, I can prop the little feet on the edge of my laptop (which helps the ergonomics and allows me to sit far enough away from my laptop to see, and reach right past it comfortably when 10-key input is needed. The only thing I could want for on the keyboard is the DEL, END, HOME, PRTSCR, etc buttons to have their own row. Mushing a function key gets old. It also came with a little mouse, but once again, I have to say the little mouse doesn't FEEL anything shy of what you would expect in a mouse I would pay >$80. It isn't heavy, but it feels like it is made of substance and not hollow cheap plastic. Regardless of its composition, it is weighted properly IMO, the clicks are tangibly resonant; meaning no mistaking if you did or did not click and thereby get your "click's worth." If it is of any consequence, using the mouse and keyboard today - a year and a half after purchase - made me want to go back and make sure I leave this review of how pleased I am with the product. This kit made it through more TSA checkpoints and baggage scrutiny at airports so many times it is eligible for frequent flier miles! :D It is durable (like I said, I am little more than a gorilla in a monkey suit, trying to be a hooman). I have smashed it into my luggage, watched it get beat up with my luggage when they load/unload the planes, and never once has this given me any trouble. One other note, it will connect to anything! I have connected it to my Chromecast, my Amazon Fire Stick, even my cell phone. I really love this thing. Finally, in saying all this, I still have to mention I still have the original batteries in the keyboard AND mouse! I'm sure your results may vary but mine have been far better than expected, for far longer than expected. I bought it to travel once. I have traveled all over North America since (more than 400,000 miles worth of flights). Not a single issue. Not one. I highly recommend!

For under $20 it's pretty UNBEATABLE
Purchased 2 and used them for completely different purposes. First, at my business where I am mostly browsing. some light editing and graphic design and some emailing. Mouse responds well once sensitivity is adjusted. It FLEW across the screen out of the box so I dialed that back in settings immediately. Doesn't feel cheap but doesn't feel premium (obviously) Wheel works and buttons are clicky enough Secondly, for my gaming room on the PC. It's only purpose is to turn on the PC and enter passcode to sign in. Perhaps browse Steam, GOG, etc and search, download and install games. Nothing crazy as my main peripheral is the controller. Just wanted something small that can be stashed away in the armrest and pulled out when needed. This fit the bill. Pros: Slim, sleek and small. This is exactly what I wanted. Nothing fancy, just cheap functionality. Cons: Muscle memory for shortcuts while editing are just a tad bit off due to the smaller size of the keyboard. Also, as I type this review, some fatigue is happening in wrists from the unnatural positioning of hands, but these can be overcome. Especially for no amount of prolonged use and a value priced item. Overall, for what it is this is a 5 star product at the price point they sell it.

Great Value and Size
The keyboard and mouse are perfect in size, money I paid, quality, and works well for the most part, except some of the keys don't work as good. Not that they get stuck, I just have to hit some keys harder then normal in order for it to show up on the screen. Thank God for autocorrect, which is helping for the most part and not so frustrating. I had this keyboard since July 1st.

Easily one of the best mouse and keyboard combinations I've ever purchased
I have only owned this mouse and keyboard combination set for about a month to a month and a half now and I have already recommended it to several other people because the price point is fabulous when I had made my initial purchase it was on sale and had a coupon which made the total purchase price like $14 which is made this an incredible buy. The keyboard is quite small however not uncomfortably small as long as you aren't in need of the number pad on the side (for doing calculations and such) i would highly recommend this keyboard. In the picture the mouse looks as if it would be uncomfortable but its not its actually quite comfortable and the DPI adjustment is great. considering I use my computer for an array of functions i tend to want do adjust my DPI quickly and the ability to do it in a single click from the center of the mouse is awesome. I have had this function on other mice but they were typically gaming mice and much much more expensive. also the keyboard has 4 buttons at the top 3 of them are volume control buttons and the other is actually a power button which I find to be quite nifty for powering down the computer especially if i am in a rush it actually powers the computer down faster than going to the start menu and powering down the computer through the shutdown function. I will point out though that unless you happen to have bios options for it you can not power the computer on with this button its just not possible as far as I'm aware I do have a career in IT and computer networking so I am quite aware of how to use my technology so this review is not coming from a novice when it comes to computer hardware. a few other things I'd like to point out is that everything about this mouse and keyboard combo appears to be very sturdy and very well made which is not something you would usually find at such a low price point. also the manufacturer says that every thing has been tested up to 1 million clicks and its definitely obvious when using the hardware. I do want to point out that the 4 keys at the top are made of a different type of button than the rest of the keys of the keyboard and they do make a rather loud click sound upon clicking them however seeing as how they are used much much less than the rest of the keys on the keyboard i dont find it to be of any level of annoyance just something to be noted if you plan to purchase this mouse and keyboard. 1 last little fact about this mouse and keyboard is that the battery life appears to be outstanding just to test i put a set of really cheap batteries in both of them just to get an idea of how quickly this set would burn out a set of batteries i wouldn't expect to work for a month in a tv remote and it appears that after a quick voltage check from a DVOM that these batteries have hardly been used. its probably because the manufacturer has these devices go into a sleep mode after just 10 to 15 seconds you will actually see the lights on the keyboard turn off and then as soon as you start to type again they light right back up and its as if the device never even went into sleep mode. The manufacturer claims that the keyboard gets about 6 months of battery life while the mouse gets i think 3 or 4 months of battery life but that's probably just because the difference between AA and AAA batteries or the fact that the mouse is used more frequently than the keyboard but then again that also depends on what your doing on your computer more frequently as well. I am not a fan of going and spending time reviewing products but I just had to go and leave a product review for this mouse and keyboard combo because it is just so totally worth the money for how portable and durable the product feels while in use. even though i primarily use this with my desktop it does have kind of a laptop feel to it which doesn't bother me but it may bother some other people. all in all 5 out of 5 stars all the way across the board, this set is definitely worth purchasing whether on the go or for use at home you just cant go wrong with this set! oh and i do want to add that i use this with a 4 port KVM and it works flawlessly plugged into the keyboard port on it.

The distance range on this product is not any better than any other wireless keyboard.

this is the second one that I have purchased , love the compactness and user friendly interface , the different colours has helped . they are also good for gaming when on the move and the mouse works perfectly

Keyboard buils quality is below average .. no solid feedback from keys .. you might miss some presses due to that fact. Also mouse movement is really bad. I find myself missing so many times on pc. I bought this compact combo to use with tablet, however the mouse movement speed is crazy and I cannot slow it down Don't recommend
