tasty
My cat suffers from idiopathic cystitis, and stressful situations make him try to pee every few minutes. I started using these treats to mix in the powder from his medication — they made it easy to give him his meds and seemed to help calm him down a little. The problem went away, probably more thanks to the medicine than the treats, but he really liked the taste! I think using just these treats to calm him would be difficult (and quite pricey), but they’re great as an addition and my cat enjoys them

Works well so far
Cats think it's a treat so they eat it with no problems and rather enjoy them. They definitely seem to help with anxiety, but I also use anxiety meds for my cats for certain events that also help. They don't smell awful but they do have a slight smell that all cat foods do. So really easy to use and so far the quality seems well. They are expensive but they seem worth it

Little Effect in Vet Trips, Best For Unsettledness During The Night
Changing my review as I've begun to feel differently about them since the vet trip. It didn't seem to work then, but it has worked during the night for her separation anxiety. We've been woken up at 3am/4am this past week because she needed extra fuss and attention. I tried the yogurt again, and they've helped her be more settled; either she's sleeping through the night, or she's getting up and having the yogurt and settling back down. It might not be as effective for the big things (such as vet trips) but it is useful for general unsettledness and when they require that extra reassurance. Original Review I gave this to my cat as we were taking her to the vet for her annual check. She's usually pretty good, but it's always a stressful time, and I'm always looking for things to make her experience easier. I had a lot of hope that the yogurt would work, but unfortunately it didn't look like it had any impact. The only upside was that she did seem to like it, and she finished the entire thing, so it wasn't entirely wasted. But it is a little too expensive for just a snack.

Cats love them!
My cats love their lick-e-lixes, and demand them every day. But sadly they were not getting on with one another. So I bought these and while my cats are still not exactly friendly with one another, they will now tolerate spending five minutes in each other's company while sharing one of these nice little snacks. And they do seem a tiny bit calmer as a result. Do these snacks change a cat's behaviour? I don't think so. Do my cats love them? Absolutely. Do my cats and I enjoy our little Happy Snack breaks? 100%!

Anxious Cat Seems to Calm Down on These
First off: My cat is a very anxious cat, she has been very vocal lately, very territorial and nothing seems to calm her down, however, these lick-e-lix style snacks seem to do the trick. A point to note is: first off: take the cat to the vet if they're showing behavioural signs- I did this first- we are also working with a behaviouralist and she suggested the Feliway products including these licky snacks. I use this alongside a Feliway Optimum plug in and daily Zylkene on the side so it is through a combiation of these things that my cat seems to cope better. One thing to note; it is very watery so the snack just pours out really fast which can be a bit disconcerting at first so if your cat isn't used to licky style snacks this may not be the best idea. My cat gets Lick-e-lix on the daily so is very well-versed in liquid snacks. You can also use a licky matt to help shy cats and to reduce boredom. I was told that just the act of licking alone is comforting to cats. If you're introducing cats together, try using the liquid snacks on each cat on either side of a closed/ slightly ajar door or baby gate. Try these in combination with a Feliway plug-in. Overall I'm happy and will be ordering again.

Not good value for money
I feel like these are a bit of a gimmick and not worth the money. Considering I just bought a box of 50 similar regular treats for less than £11, I just wouldn't bother buying these again. We haven't noticed any difference in behaviour after he has these, and I'm sure feeding a similar product would create a sense of intimacy too. I put it on my finger a bit at a time for the cat to lick. If we squeeze it straight from the tube it often drips on the floor.
