This pad can reduce the direct impact on the shin when playing soccer, this is wider than some other shin pads I have seen and more comfortable for my use, but your experience may vary depending on the size of your leg. Make sure to test the size and comfort if you purchase this product.

Perfectly fine build quality but these are seriously small shin guards, as described in the listing. I knew this going in. They will be used for kids in our town’s “Little Cleats” program for very young kids but might even be small for them! If you have an older 7+ kid who wants/likes the absolute minimum amount of protection these may be for you.
