These are great and don't involve plastic
I tried roasting in parchment for the first time with these. I love that they do not contain plastic or dangerous chemicals. For years I've used nylon roasting bags and always wondered how much plastic was getting inside us from the food I cooked. These parchment bags are easy to use, they stay rolled up during cooking and the food comes out great. They function the same as nylon roasting bags by speeding up cooking time and keeping the moisture in for tender meat.I cooked turkey thighs and breast tenderloins with carrots and they were delicious!

Sure fire way to ensure your turkey does not go dry
We smoke a turkey every year and some years it’s better than others as certain factors can make it vary. The last two years I have used these parchment bags and each time the bird came out PERFECT! I typically smoke it or you could bake it for a few hours to get a golden brown outside or help the smoke get in and then simply place the bird in the bag and roll it up tight and fold underneath. I did leave the thermometer it and had the cord come out of the bag. You could also use an app based one which would work better. No basting, no tenting, no wrapping of wing tips. None of that. Just let it cook and once done let it sit in the bag for a few minutes before opening.Turkeys, chickens, heck even briskets I bet could be done with these. Perfect size for a turkey and you can’t go wrong.

Best turkey ever!
This parchment bag kept the juices where they belonged - in the meat! Absolutely the best turkey I’ve ever cooked. I’ve never been a fan of the cooking bags - just couldn’t get past the idea of how cooking my food in a “plastic” bag couldn’t leave something in my food I wouldn’t want to be feeding my family.

really huge
Works well definitely big enough for a large turkey.

Great Thanksgiving Turkey
We made a 16 pound turkey for Thanksgiving. A bit awkward using it because it was our first time. Also was expensive but we thought it was worth it given how delicious and moist the meat was.Our turkey was huge. The center was well cooked while the outer meat stayed juicy and tastey. One of our best turkeys ever. We froze the leftovers and had many more meals. It is now January and we just finished the last frozen portion. Still tasty. A bit more dry but probably because we did not wrap it air tight for the freezer. Still good after nearly two months.

Parchment is durable and reuseable.
These are large bags for roasting a chicken or meat roast for four. The bags can be re-used to reheat what you have roasted so they retain moisture. Parchment is very durable and, after they have worn out, can be cleaned and recycled. They are compostable if they cannot be cleaned enough to be recycled. The same company makes "sandwich" bags which can be used to bake and rehead potatoes in a microwave. I have used them in the microwave (and rused them as many as four times) in the microwave for single servings of frozen broccoli, carrots and other hard veggies. If you want less waste and better quality, these bags are worth the price, especially because they are so durable.

Easy to use
These bags are very sturdy. Cooked a 13lb turkey. I was worried about it tearing due to all the broth released but it never did. Bag wide enough to place turkey and it folds over easily to shut. Would purchase again.
