Sturdy enough if the base is filled well. Bought that from same company and it all fit. The fabric on the umbrella it's is fine but doesn't look thick enough to go years. Reviews made this one sound good and I would agree, it's good.

Want to be fair. The umbrella was $39. Bought it because description said heavy duty and Amazons Choice. Didn’t need the best in the world. Just some shade. It’s nice for the price but there’s nothing heavy duty about it. The fabric looks like plastic, very thin, and the frame isn’t very sturdy or rigid for slightly breezy areas. Good for the price if it’s in a protected area void of challenges from the elements. It won’t last long where I have it and I wouldn’t buy it again for what I need on the coast
