Surprised Me
I have tried so many things along these lines of promises to help you, so I was skeptical at best. However, I was pleasantly surprised that when I used this eye cream in the morning (using something else at night) I could actually feel my skin tightening. My morning eye bags disappeared. I kept watch to see if this was just a temporary fix for like an hour or so, but it kept my under eyes "tight" all day. It doesn't take much either, and with it's consistency, you don't want to "pour it on so to speak" I even put some on my forehead lines just out of curiosity, and I could feel and see the tightness there as well. It didn't last as long as the under eyes, but then your forehead gets more movement maybe.

Feels good after two weeks. Time will tell.
I recently tried the Hygieia Eye Restore Cream. Really glad I did because, as someone who deals with dark circles and puffiness, finding a decent eye cream has been a challenge. This cream's formula feels good. It has ingredients like collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid and retinol. The combination is said to combat signs of aging. I have read that this cream has cellular absorption. It penetrates the skin and the active ingredients to work from within. It doesn’t leave any greasy residue, which is a biggie for me. Also, a little bit goes a long way. I have only been using it for a couple weeks but it already feels like it is keeping my under-eye area smooth and soft. That does make me feel more refreshed. I look forward to seeing what results come after using it for 2 or 3 months. I do recommend giving this one a try. Hygieia offers an unconditional 60-day satisfaction promise.

Cracked jar; unappealing consistency; dries fast
My January 2024 order of ‘Hygieia Rejuvenate Eye Cream 2.0 oz’ arrived in packaging with intact shrink wrap covering the box; however, the plastic jar appears to have a crack in it down one entire side and onto the bottom of the jar. The crack isn’t leaking, but obviously isn’t ideal either. The bottom of the box shows a Manufacture Date of December 28 2023 and an Expiration Date of December 28 2026. Nowhere on the packaging, in the product listing, or on the company’s website is it stated where the product is made; that’s disappointing. However, their website does have a nice list of the product’s ingredients along with an explanation of what each ingredient is meant to do. Unfortunately the appearance of the eye cream is not appealing at all. It is lumpy, clumpy, beige or tan. Not at all like any other cream I’ve used in the past. Upon initial inspection, I wondered if the jar crack had allowed the product to degrade, but don’t think that’s the case after seeing that other folks experienced the same appearance. Very faint scent which didn’t bother me. The cream dries quickly on my skin, but I’m not sure it is absorbing well — seems like I can feel a layer of the cream onto my skin after it dries. If you can get past the appearance and the cream works for you, I guess it is worth it. However, at this cost there is lots of competition and lots of creams without some of these issues.

Glossy beige aspic for your eyes
When this eye cream arrived, I thought I had been sent the wrong product. Instead of the sparkly translucent orange gel pictured on the product page, this cream is more like an opaque, glossy beige aspic (see pics). As a test, I dabbed a little onto my face then blotted it with a white tissue. As expected, it left a bit of a beige-colored stain on the tissue. That said, the product itself has a nice feel when applied as per the instructions, gently dabbing a small amount around the eyes and massaging in a circular motion until fully absorbed. It does absorb well without leaving a visible or palpable residue, and I do notice a slight tightening, firming sensation as it dries. A week or so of steady use hasn't made much of a difference in the appearance of the skin around my eyes, but using a gentle eye cream like this does seem like a good preventative measure to take (out of fairness, I swim laps regularly and always have residual raccoon eyes on swim days, which I wouldn't expect any product to undo). I had hoped to be able to use this eye cream both morning and night (especially the latter), but because of the apparent makeup foundation in the ingredients, I'm limiting use to my morning skincare routine. This limitation, along with the deceptive picture, are why I've docked the product a couple of stars.

Arrived Spilled And Congealed...
This product feels perfectly lovely on my skin and absorbs really nicely. However it was kind of crusty as I opened it up as if it had leaked all inside of the lid and congealed at the top so I had to clean that up and scrape that off before I could use it. That's not exactly how I want my eye cream to arrive since it's going around my sensitive and delicate eye area. I want it to be really fresh and well sealed and this was not. So, although the cream seems perfectly lovely I had to take off one star because fresh and sealed and protected and germ-free is super important. It's kind of a weird jelly/putty texture that I'm not accustomed to and that was a little bit off-putting but it definitely does soak into the skin easily It's too early to tell if it's doing anything significant and I don't have a lot of things that need to be fixed other than dark circles a little bit of puffiness. But we shall see how it looks in the next month or so. It definitely does well well wear well under makeup.

Eye Cream!
I have been using, Hygieia Eye Restore Cream – Anti-Aging Day & Night Cream for Dark Circles, Puffiness & Wrinkles, Cellular Absorption - Peptides, Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid & Retinol Cream to Brighten Under Eyes, 2 Oz twice a day on my eyes and here is what I thought of it. I like this cream. I like how easy it is to use around my eyes. I like all the benefits of what it can do to help with puffiness and wrinkles and dark circles. It has some great ingredients as well. A little goes a long way with this cream. I would recommend.
