CABLE FOR SONY 43X81J TV
I did a lot of searching for a video composite cable with 3.5 jack to match my new Sony TV. I read some review about this cable, which I think may be a little unfair. They gave negative review which indicated that the cable is faulty. I visited the Sony web to find the configuration connections of the socket to the cable jack,before ordering. I think this is more of the issue why people can’t get the cable to work,rather than the cable at fault. It was still a little of a guessing game when I ordered the cable as I couldn’t find the configuration of the plug in the description (please include a picture of configuration in description). It did say though it was for Sony TV and cameras. On receipt I check the jack with a multi meter for continuity, against Sony’s web image. It matched so I could safely connect to the TV with no danger of damage. The cable looks good quality and was long enough for my purpose. The picture quality is good. I am very happy that this cable works with the TV and DVD. The delivery was really good, it arrived well before the estimated delivery slot. In fact it was about 24 hrs from ordering. I would recommend this cable for this TV, but there are so many “look the same cables” as it important to check on manufactures site as much as possible to confirm it’s the correct configuration before ordering. Does the job!
Purchased this lead in order to watch old camcorder tapes on tv screen (our original lead had got lost at some point over the years). It worked well and it was great to view old memories on a big screen. Did the job I wanted it to do.

Incorrectly wired.
Potential buyers beware... RCA connectors are like tinfoil and there is no way this will work with a Sony Handicam without a soldering iron to rewire it correctly.Complete rubbish.
