DreambabyMag Lock Classic (4 Locks)

Actually a very good product which is why I have to give it 5 stars. Forget about the template as it is useless, I had fitted this type of lock before which was a different manufacturer but the template with them was also of no use. Once you work out the measurements on the first one the rest is more straight forward, beware that you need a fair amount of diy skill for this job. You have to be very careful not to drill through the door, the wee color supplied to fit over the drill is fine if the drill is the right length but there's not many drills that short. I was very annoyed as I had not realized that the set did not come with the magnetic key which I will now have to buy separate. I bought two sets and one set was missing two screws, also annoying.

I had installed locks for my daughter-in-law previously and bought these to finish her kitchen units. Providing you read the instructions (more than once, in my case!) and have an elementary knowledge of DIY, it is a relatively a straightforward procedure. The self-adhesive stickers take all the guesswork out of where to drill the 8mm hole and pilot holes for lock and catch.

Very good design as it is totaly out of sight unlike other child lock systems and when fitted corectly it is very very hard to open I would say imposible for a child. My only gripe is the screws supplied have cross heads that are very easy to wear. I replaced and used harder screws on mine on the second install I did to save the heads shearing. Very good product still.

Fantastic product. Have lost several magnetic keys over the last 2 years, and this is the only one which sells the keys only. It is expensive for the size of the product, but worth the money, especially when you cannot open the kitchen cupboards otherwise! Dispatched quickly too. It would be better if we can order 2 keys in a pack, or 4 keys in a pack.

I bought this as a second key for the 8 pack of locks I bought that only come with one key. That key works fine but this one is nowhere near strong enough and the magnet won't open the locks. Seems ridiculous as the key is by exactly the same manufacturer for the same lock system. Will be returning

Invisible from the outside of the cupboard / draw.The included paper drilling guides ( 1 per lock ) are helpful and make fitting the locks a breeze.However the drilling guides are not suitable in all cases. For example a chest of draws where the draws fall flush inside the frame. In this case its a question of careful measuring and marking up with a pencil.Despite this a the locks can be fitted to pretty much all types of cupboards and draws.

These catches are a good idea, are adequately well made and the instructions are easy to follow. However, the catches are flawed by the manufacturers being over optimistic about the thickness of material through which the magnets will operate. My doors are 28mm thick and I used the additional part needed for thicker doors but the magnet is still not strong enough to operate the catch. Much stronger magnets are needed to operate at this thickness. Most of the time I have to wrench the doors open. They doors are certainly child-proof but for the wrong reasons!

This is just what I needed after losing my magnet for my kitchen cupboards.

Cumple su funcion, es resistente y buena calidad, tiene una pestaña para anular su funcion cuando no se necesite. Lo unico que hay que tener cuidado con la colocacion de no pasarse con el taladro y el sistema de pegatinas que guia donde taladrar no me funciono muy bien y tuve que hacer un segundo agujero, luego ya con un metro hice los demas sin problema.

L'installation est très simple, il existe sur Youtube une petite vidéo qui explique très bien comment faire, taper : Dreambaby Maglock (même si c'est en anglais on comprends) et du coup en 5 minutes avec une perceuse visseuse le mécanisme est monté.L'ensemble est invisible une fois monté.J'utilise un aimant de récup pour ouvrir les portes, il faut simplement repérer le bon sens pour positionner l'aimant pour ouvrir à coup sûr les portes ou les tiroirs (j'ai enveloppé l'aimant dans du scotch pour ne pas rayer les portes).Nous sommes très content de ce produit

Easy to use and easy to loose

Lo he comprado sin tener en cuenta (asumo el error) que tengo que hacer varios taladros en el interior de los cajones.Además no sé si en otras marcas especifican el ancho máximo de madera con el que se puede montar. En este modelo es mas bien poco.Realmente no he realizado una buena compra.
