I was rather impressed that these looked even better than advertised. They are a nice size, too! Eye catching! For those reasons I've given them 5 stars. My pair came without backs, so that was weird. As luck would have it, based on the customer reviews of these earrings, stating that they were heavy, I had ordered some large backs for heavy earrings. They arrived at the same time, so I am in luck. Also, the posts on both earrings were bent sideways a bit, probably due to minimal packaging (no box, just a plastic bag inside a shipping envelope). I just bent them back with my hand, and it seems that they are none worse for the wear. I like them a lot, after all is said and done. Happy with the purchase!

Heavy on ear but very pretty

These are very pretty scallop shell earrings - perfect for a beach vacation, and for the price, they can't be beat. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because of the packaging - the packing makes them less giftable. Since I think the earrings themselves are giftable, if I decide not to keep them, I'll need to find an appropriate box.
