Better than the OEM original
Title: Better than the OEM original Product: MovFst battery for Samsung GalaxyS21 5g (SM-G991U & G991F), L-ion Polymer 4900 mAh Rating: 5/5 After several years of hard, my original L-ion battery (4000 mAh but likely closer to 3880 mAh) was nearing the end of its service life ... my phone would often get not just warm but hot to the touch, charges were lasting less and less long. Rather than buying a new phone, I opted to replace the battery, to extend my phone's life by another 2-3 yrs. After a bit of careful searching, I found a replacement using the newer L-ion Polymer (LiPo) technology, which not only offered greater capacity (4900 vs 4000 mAh), but runs cooler, has no risk of dendrite shorting, has a lower rate of self discharge (charges last longer), and has 2x the service life (more charge cycles). Upon arrival, I decided to have a pro install it instead of DiY, because the waterproofing glue requires considerable care), so I went to my local phone repair center who charged me $40 to swap it in. It took about 30 mins, and my phone runs better than ever. MINOR NIT: This is the fault of the phone, not the new battery, but even though the new LiPo battery can hold 4900 mAh, the phone can only charge it up to the OEM's max charge, which is only 4000 mAh. However, the improved performance of the newer LiPo battery vs the OEM L-Ion original enabled me to implement the following setting tweaks. PERFORMANCE TIPS: 1) DISABLE THE BATTERY SAVER. Since the phone's charger caps out at 4000 mAh (82% of the LiPo's 4900 capacity), I disabled the battery saver setting (which limited charging of the OEM battery to 85% to increase lifespan ... 85% of 4000 is 3400 mAh). Thus, by charging to 100% of the OEM's max (4000), I still got a 15% increase in capacity (4000 vs 3400 mAh), and since 4000 is only 82% of the newer battery's max capacity, that 15% increase still leaves enough unused charge capacity to functions like a free battery saver, even when set to 100% charging. HOW: Settings > Device Care > Battery > Battery Protection (DISABLE) 2) INCREASE CPU PERFORMANCE: Because the new LiPo battery runs far cooler, and holds more juice, ive been able to comfortably max out the performance settings. My phone now runs upto 30% faster now, and my screen is upto 10% brighter. HOW: Settings > Device Care > Battery > POWER SAVING MODE (OFF) > (disable all subsettings, incl the 70% cap on CPU performance). Bottom line: although the Galaxy S21 5g can only charge the newer 4900 mAh LiPo battery to 4000, the phone runs much cooler, and if you finesse the settings the battery still holds 15% more juice, the CPU can run upto 30% faster, and your screen will be brighter, with little or no loss in performance. Worth every penny.

Battery and Tool Kit for a Galaxy S10e
Installed the battery today. The kit was perfect. The battery is preforming as expected. YouTube video's gave me the knowhow, and confidence I needed do the task. The instruction sheet that came with the kit was good too.

Do not follow the included instructions.
Tools in the kit vary slightly from what's in the picture. More cheaply made, but they work well enough. The included instruction appear to be generic and just says "Remove all the screws from the back of the phone." at one point. Don't do that. Look up a specific guide online and follow that. The ribbon cable for connecting the battery to the phone is slightly the wrong size/shape so the connectors do not exactly line-up, which requires some fiddling and flexing of the cable before you can press it down. Cleaning off the old adhesive is by far the most tedious and time consuming step. Overall not bad, got the job done, currently charging, may update and drop another star when it's verified not to be 5150mAh.

S10
This was the right product, but my intended use didn't work. It comes with everything you need to repair a Samsung s10.

If hesitant, don't do it
Difficult to remove old battery. After installing, worked for about an hour then overheated and shorted my phone. Ended up having to replace the phone.

Lots of glue on my phone to strip
Works as you would hope. More screws than video.
