Wonderful, interactive book for children! This book includes a small magnifying glass on the inside front cover. It showcases many things you may encounter when going on a nature hike (insects, plants, flowers, etc). I especially like that the drawings are realistic (and not like cartoons). Wish there were more region specific versions, east coast, south, west coast, North. The book is fun and my daughter loves earning her stickers but we were a smidge disappointed that some of the plans and birds were not in our areas.

Cute book ... must alter what to look for as some things it mentions are not in my geographical area. My grandson (4) and I go out and do a scavenger hunt... we have quality time and lots of fun!

This was an accidental (in my pocket while working) purchase - which I discovered too late to cancel "oops" - however - I found it to be a perfect book for my neice - maybe she will join me on hikes when she gets a little older - for now she is "hiking" in the back yard with this book discovering new things she otherwise would not necessarily have investigated on her own. I highly reccomend this book for an adventurous young person.

Love this book!Would recommend for ages 4+ although I purchased for my two year old and she is still interested in the pictures!Has an adorable mini magnifying glass included,"badge" stickers for each of the subjects and a trail map you can make yourself. I love that there is a mix of information and simple nature based activities.Only downfall is that the pages are made of regular, thin paper which may not hold up well if taken outside.Would make the perfect gift for any little adventurer!

This book is SO GREAT. My kiddo is only 3 and really into character books right now, but he was captivated by each page as we get excited for walking and hiking season. Can’t wait for all this snow to melt!!! The magnifying glass is so perfect - he loves to look at the drawings up close and notice things. He’s gonna love the stickers too!

My kid wants to take this book everywhere we go, so she can check off the animals and plants she sees en route. This is one of those books you can come back to again and again, and get something new out of it every time. Fun & educational!

Even though book is geared for older kids, I think my 4 year old will love it when we go exploring. He loves stickers and I love to teach biology.

We love this book - it really helped my sons appreciate going on an outdoor walk, as we explored and had competitions to find the different things in the book.

This book is highly overpriced for its cntent. Not worth it.

Great little nature learning book

I purchased this book along with a pair of binoculars for our grandson for Christmas. It is a lovely book for ages 6 - 10 and has a wipeable cardboard cover.It has various sections all related to exploring nature and the natural world and the illustrations are all in colour and meant to appeal to a child's sense of discovery.An excellent book for the money.
