Not as impressive as other Lodge cookware
This doesn't live up to the rest of the Lodge cookware I own. It's certainly not flat and the initial surface is way rougher than other items I've gotten from them. On the plus side, it's thin, so it's light and was able to be bent back to being almost completely flat (using some ingenuity and a heavy duty vise. We'll use it on an induction stovetop, so flatness matters, but for a grill or camping it wouldn't matter much. I think now that it's flat it'll work okay, but it may warp back. Time will tell.

Great camping and at home
I got this for cooking on my 3 burner Coleman camp stove. I was able to cook breakfast for 6 easily, and still had a burner free for boiling water. It didn't heat quite as even as my cast iron, but it's much easier to wash and handle, plus less issues with rust, so it's a fair trade off. I also used it at home on my bridge burner to crank out tortillas, and it worked well on my glass top. Very happy with this, exactly what I was looking for!

Already warped and not even used once
I own many Lodge cast iron pans and even their cast iron griddle. This is the first time I've been disappointed with the quality of their goods, but if this is the best they can do working carbon steel then maybe they should stick to cast iron. I should have listened to the reviewers talking about this not laying flat or coming warped. I figured maybe there were just a few bad ones in the batch. If so, I got one of the terrible ones - it's not even close to flat. I don't even have a glass cooktop - it's gas with metal grates, and trying to use this would drive me insane with it see-sawing and clanging against the metal every time I touched it. How this could get past any form of QA is beyond me - it just says they don't care about their product and hope some people might find this acceptable quality. Maybe some of them are actually flat, but I'm not going to bother with these any more.

Not for glass cooktops
Works well and well made, but it’s not actually flat and warps more when heated so it spins around on glass cook tops and doesn’t heat evenly. I’ve used it on my induction stove by using some heat resistant silicon bumpers to keep it from sliding but it still heats unevenly due to the warping. Passable but not recommended.

Works great with induction stovetop
My induction stovetop can combine two burners into one large one and that's exactly what I hoped this pan would allow me to do. It conducts heat well and is perfect for making pancakes, burgers and any dish you would use multiple frying pans for. It's also not too heavy, which means it doesn't get insanely hot. My stovetop has shut itself off when my other cast iron pans get too hot. It's well made and perfect for everyday use.

Works Great on Induction Stove!
I wanted to be sure to come back and write a review for this because I spent a very long time searching for a griddle that would work on the bridge element of my GE Cafe Induction Range that didn’t have any kind of chemical nonstick coating. It wasn’t an easy thing to find. Most cast iron griddles have an uneven bottom that wouldn’t make contact with the induction surface. When I found this flat one I assumed it would work but was hesitant to purchase because it doesn’t say it’s induction compatible and the reviews on it were pretty mixed. I finally decided it was worth a shot and I’m SO glad I did despite the reviews! It has quickly become my most used pan. We’ve used it pretty much daily for the last 2 months since purchasing it. For the first several uses I added a good bit of extra oil to get it good and seasoned and now it’s perfect! It’s basically non-stick at this point. It’s super easy to clean. I typically don’t wash it, just scrape it clean and wipe it with a rag. I haven’t had any issues with warping like some other reviewers have mentioned but I also don’t ever really need to heat it on high. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. One thing that probably bears mentioning is that the cooking surface doesn’t heat evenly throughout, but in my experience that’s just the nature of cooking with a griddle, not a flaw in this specific one. I’ve seen several reviews that complain about uneven heat, but I believe the hottest areas will always be the areas over the actual heating elements (whether that be induction, electric, or a flame) and the rest will not be as hot. Just bear this in mind while cooking and you shouldn’t have any issues. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! Highly recommend if your searching for an induction-compatible griddle!

This pan fits our 6-top gas range perfectly and is much easier to work with than the heavier cast iron griddles I've owned in the past. The pan holds heat well enough to make proper smash burgers and it's non-stick enough that cooking eggs or fish works without issue, with a bit of care. The handles are a great addition for moving the pan out of the way for washing or cooling off. The pan cleans up easily given the tall lip and handles. I generally add water and bring it to a boil to lightly scrape off the stuck bits. With a light wipe in the sink when it cools down to remove any extra bits, I let it dry off and give it a light coating of oil with a clean cloth. If you find it loses its coating, you can add it back with the same basic process as a cast iron pan, though I haven't had to do that yet (I avoid acidic foods, and clean it carefully). This pan would also be great for camping (though this one is not leaving my kitchen any time soon).

Love cooking meat and burgers on this, absolutely perfect browning and crust. I’m sure this will outlast me and I love the fact I can put it on the stove top, bbq or camp fire.

Bought this to use on my outdoor bbq to make smash burgers. Works great and easy to clean.

Pros: good handles; no channels to have to scrape fat out of; not terrible heavy; decent size. Cons: the cooking surface is quite rough, which means things are more likely to get caught in the roughness, and then it's harder to clean. It's seasoned and I'll keep it seasoned so it'll be okaaaay, but why not make the surface smooth? Very strange.
