IMPORTANT-YOU NEED A MEROSS HUB WITH THIS! WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT!My fault, but I searched for "wifi thermometer Alexa" but, somehow, managed to miss that it also required a hub. Apparently you can buy the thermometer and the hub, together, for the same price.Still, I just want something that doesn't require another part, and another point of failure, to interface with the Alexa, so that I can monitor the temperature in my shed, so I can create routines to turn the heater on / off for the feral cats that we feed. Honestly, it shouldn't be that hard to find, but the reviews for the other devices are usually pretty bad.Anyway, just wanted to leave this note and, hopefully, save someone else from doing the same, dumb thing I did.

Exactly what you expect
Connect easy, apps easy to use and so far its tracking. The question is accuracy, I cannot confirm or deny at this point

I am using this for my attic. It does require the separate meross hub. It's easy to set up in the meross app and add in Apple Home.

No hub. Not clearly indicated
Does not come with a hub and this is NOT clearly indicated. You cannot buy the hub by itself so now I have to return this. 👎 not impressed.

Set it and forget it
Easy to setup and monitor with the app, and be added to Apple Home. The solar panel on top only needs to be exposed to any light source and can stay charged without any interaction on your part. Easy to calibrate with either a known accurate source, or use a humidity pack like Boveda and a ziplock bag.

Nice way to collect temps remotely to control other things in my home. Loved how simple it was to set up (assuming you already have the required hub).

Only works during daylight
I own several Meross devices and wanted to stick to the same ecosystem. Unfortunately this sensor only worked for me when it was sunny. The rest of the time the device was offline in the Meross app and alerted me to replace the battery. The solar did not seem to keep a charge long enough to keep it online during cloudy times or overnight. When it did work I found the temp and humidity to be pretty accurate. But the reliability of the solar is not good. Ultimately I returned.
