Mixer Lift without Shelf….great anyway.
The media could not be loaded. The steel arms with the springs are included from Amazon. The wood Shelf is not included, the seller could have done a better job of letting us know… I won’t beat them up too bad since this thing turned out so awesom. I bought a cutting board from target to sit the mixer on. 14” x 20” “Figmint” cutting board was $25 at target.

Great way to store a large mixer
I love this mixer storage shelf. I have several counter appliances and I had rather store them instead of having them all out on my counters. My Kitchenaid mixer was too heavy to take in and out of my cabinets each time I use it, so this was a perfect solution. The shelf/rack is very easy to lift and the mixer stays on this shelf while using. When you let it down the weight of the mixer makes the shelf lower on its own slowly. It is NOT easy to install if your cabinet has a drawer at the top. It took several adjustments and moving the hardware rails around to finally keep from hitting or where it would properly lock. We’ve bought many other cabinet shelves and this one was by far the hardest to install. No regrets, the final product was well worth the installation difficulties.

Mixer lifter
This is a great product. Works great spring assisted lift and lowering. Pull the locks when locked at top and let it go. The Wife doesn't call for help now

I love it but my waistline does not
After installing the product, my family wanted sugar cookies. I liked the height, sturdiness and ease of use of the soft close feature. Then I got a request for carrot cake which led to another baked item! This product is a game changer for me. I don’t have to lift this mixer anymore (they’re heavy). It’s made my baking experience so much better.

Flawless
Absolutely amazing. It operates smoothly. I had to build a cabinet within the cabinet (installed in a 48 inch wide lower cabinet with drawers. After building the interior box (to add walls to the middle of the wide cabinet, I mounted it at a 12 degree angle so it worked correctly with my drawer cabinet. Had to create a 12 degree mounting block for under the platform (to counter act the 12 degree mounting angle within the cabinet). When all was said and done I placed the appliance and wow - simple and perfect.

Faulty shocks
We had this installed by a professional contractor, with butcher block as the base. The first time I used it one of the shocks gave and my whole mixer fell. DO NOT RECOMMEND!*Edited to add that their customer service is terrible. I reached out for a possible solution or replacement part, they responded once saying that would “look into it” heard nothing after weeks, and they have responded to any of the 5 follow up emails I’ve sent. Extremely disappointed as I was so excited about this product.

Very hard to install - You need to know what you are doing and have wood working tools.
1. Lift takes up more width than you will anticipate.2. You need to add some good quality 3/4" plywood braces to the sides of your cabinet to attach the lift hinges.3. I was able to customize a pull out drawer under the lift, but most people may not have this ability.4. You will need wood working equipment to install.5. You will need to add your own cutting board. I recommend at least 1" thick and buy one larger than the dimensions you take after installing the hinges. When you get the cutting board, then trim it down to the size needed per the instructions, sand the edges where you cut to a beautiful finish, and then re oil the cutting board using food safe mineral oil.6. Once the cutting board is finished you will need to buy more screws to install the cutting board. I recommend pan head style so that you don't need to be perfectly precise (compared to countersink style.7. This wasn't and easy project and even had to modify one of the door hinges that was slightly in the way of the front corner of the hinge bracket. I had to saw off a 1/4X 3/8 corner of the front lower of the right metal bracket.Fortunately I have all of the tools necessary for installation and worked through each problem.8. If you have a handy person that can install this thing, it is a really great addition to your kitchen. If you think this thing is going to be easy to install with little wood and metal tools, then you might get very mad not realizing that you may have to hire someone to install.
