Q: Will this hair color leave leave stains after you’ve washed your hair?

I don’t believe so. If you put a thin line of Vaseline around the face near hairline it should keep the color from staining around that areas.

Q: can I do highlights with this product?

yes, mabe soft highlights in the front, and on the center back around the edges lightly, front and back of head, u will rock.
