I have not yet tried this product so I can't tell you how it works or what it tastes like. I do know it's a good idea to speak to your doctor before you take this or anything else including supplements and vitamins if you take medication or have medical problemsI do know that potassium iodide is very important for your thyroid berthyroid. Understand this is not for your entire body to be safe from radiation! Point this is simply to keep your cyroid running smoothly after after an attack or EMP from radioactive weaponsNow that it's in the news every day I think it's a good idea for everybody to have this on hand but again some people cannot take this so be very very careful and ask your doctor!What KI does or potassium iodide as it's called here is is it fills your thyroid with good iodine instead of the bad iodine that comes from from radioactive materials being exploded in the air Or from a malfunction at a nuclear power plant.You do not take this until after something happens!! You do not take it if they say something's going to happen you wait until it does in your area or if you are downwind and take it only at that time.This is especially important for children as your thyroid is involved in breaking down food and feeding your body!! If the bad stuff gets in your body especially children you are cyroid will not work properly and brilliant and no matter how much you feed a baby or a child they will not grow because they'because the thyroid can be Damaged in such a way that they will not be able to process food or put on weight so they will starve to death no matter how much they eat. At least this is what I've learned again talk to your doctor.I decided to write this review because I liked the way it was packed I liked that it's a liquid so it's more absorbable than a pill I'm simply hoping that the manufacturer of this product was was careful in making this and that the amount it says to take his proper and that it is the right dosage. I pray they didn't cut corners and use cheaper materialsUnfortunately we won't know until after the fact. I have a bottle of 100 iostat tablets I think there are a 130 mg each that I bought years ago at a survival store I'll store but wanted to have a backup and extra for those who I care about and neighbors. I was also concerned it takes 20 to 30 minutes for a pill to dissolve in someone's body so I thought that the liquid would be absorbable faster under someone's tongue.I could praise it this never happens but according to my faith... And The Bible that predicts it is going to happen in something called prophecy, I'm fairly certain it is a very good thing to keep this on hand.Like I said I just truly hope this brand is the right purchase. I hope there claims of it being 130 mg and it's claims I'm a being able to protectour thyroids are thyroids are true.Thank you

I hope we never have to use these. We have them if we ever need them though.

Hope I never have to use them but it seemed like the best buy going.Put in my prepper cabinet and crossing my fingers they never get opened in my lifetime.

I think having a solid iodine is easier to store and transport and easier to handle than a liquid where a liquid could freeze in cold temperatures so I purchased it because of being able to use it and store it in cold temperatures below freezing.

I use Kosher sal for cooking it does't have iodide so my Dr recommend potassium iodide tables and I just pick this one definitely worth trying it so far so good

I am only giving this product 3 stars because one of the glass bottles arrived broken and was all over the inside of the package.Update: I am changing my review to 5 stars because the seller reached out and offered to replace the broken bottle. Great customer service!I did have an allergic response to the liquid that was on the inside of the package on my skin, but I tested this on another family member and they had no reaction. I am glad this happened before needing to take in an emergency situation because it could have been potentially very dangerous for me to ingest if I am in fact allergic. Otherwise I cannot speak for the quality or effectiveness of the product as I am saving it for an emergency situation.

This is a 2 bottle value pack of potassium iodide tablets. I've always kept them at home but reality is I'm on the go most of the time and would not have any at work. Now I have a set in the car and a set to gift someone else for their car. Living near a power plant in the decimate zone if that is the right word, the closest few miles, it is important to have it available at all times just in case.
