I purchased these books for my 7 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves these books and asks for them for her birthday and Christmas. Fortunately, the author keeps putting out new books and new adventures. If it instills a love of reading in a 7 year old, I'm totally giving it the highest rating.

She has read all of these books and wants us to read them to her too. She loves to read them.

My daughter LOVES the Rainbow Magic books, and there aren't any at her school library. She loves the stories and reads them over and over. The cover ilustrations are very cute. I just wish the books were published in better quality paper -- it looks like the books are not going to last long.

I chose this listing because it specified Scholastic Books and the ISBN for the US version. I thought it would easier to keep familiar spelling and word choices (mom/mum, color/colour) for my six year old. We received the UK version published by Orchard Books from Amazon Seller St. Stephen Books. Not a huge deal and she still enjoys the books, but descriptions naming publisher and ISBN should be listed correctly.

I purchased these books for a granddaughter who was struggling with reading. They were the 'switch' that changed her attitude, and I'm forever grateful. She read the series, and is now seldom without a book. These books opened an entire world of learning, and for that I say, "Thank-you!"
