I used this as an exhaust fan for a home made paint both along with a large area paint filter. It did an adequate job. Except when the painter guy was doing alot of continuous spraying.

Stopped running after 6 hours running intermittently get what you paid for junk. I would not recommend buying this unit or from this seller

I painted my bathtub with marine boat paint. So I knew the fumes were going to be miserable. But trust me this fan was amazing. But of course I did tape off the bathroom and still wear a respirator so I could breath. But there weren't any fumes in the rest of the house. Definitely worth the money
