Works well, hopefully it holds up for a while
Ive become somewhat immobile over the last year and a half due to back and auto immune issues, which has also caused me to gain a ton of weight and am now hovering around 350lbs. I noticed my skin was starting to breakdown in some areas from no longer being able to be active, and ive slept on alternating air beds while in the icu and thought they were pretty comfortable so I wanted to find one for home. Buying a whole mattress would have been way out of my price range, so this is next best thing. Right out of the box it is very easy to set up took maybe 2 minutes, and the compressor is very quiet, imo. I sleep with a fan on so I dont notice the sound of it at all. . It alternates air every few minutes. Most of the time I can barely tell the cells are constantly inflating and deflating; it goes on relatively unnoticed unless youre really paying attention. You can adjust the firmness level which I very much appreciate and have kept mine set on number 7. I wish it had a softer side/some kind of covering because it is very uncomfortable being exposed to the plastic. I have it wrapped in a king size sheet, but it can become wrinkled which is a no-no when youre trying to avoid bed sores. I will have to find some way of getting it a more fitted cover and am considering buying a twin size duvet cover to put it in. The pad is twin size and it lays on top of my queen size bed just fine, but does shift around if I do. All in all, it has made laying in bed much more comfortable. My legs no longer feel like theyre constantly going numb from not having enough blood flow so the pad is worth it to me just for that alone. If youre on the heavier side and in need of an alternating air pad, I definitely recommend giving this one a try if you can score it under $50.

Great Mattress No breakdowns
This is the second mattress of this type that I have bought and I definitely prefer this one. I have this mattress on a hospital type bed that I sleep on at home at it works and feels as great. I can actually feel when the air changes chambers in the mattress. Yes you can adjust the firmness you desire. This mattress is slick on both sides and doesn’t have that felt that some mattresses have. I keep a throw blanket acrosst the foot of my bed because my Emotional Support Dog Maverick sleeps on the foot. The mattress is thick. The other one I had, his nail made a hole in it and he wasn’t digging in it. He enjoys the mattress too. I think it helps the arthritis in his shoulder to..Definitely worth the money.

Doesn't work properly
Easy to place on the bed. Easty to attach the tubing to the mattress on one end and the pump on the other. Two controls. On and off. And how much you want it to inflate. Turn the pump on, adjust the inflation and it inflates, no problem. After 6 mins. , however, it is suppose to deflate and alternate every 6 mins. It does not defalte and alternate. It comes with sketcy instructions but the pump has printed instructions on the actual pump too. If you ask support for help they refer you to their "mechanics for repair instructions" Or they refer you to someone else for this that or the other. They have no idea how it works. I've tried different things and different settings thinking maybe i made an error but there are only very few steps. It comes with some fuses that i have no idea what to do with and nobody seems to know where they go or what they are for and it does come with ONE small patch. If you want a mattress that stays inflated, this is great with the pump. If you want something to help with bedsores, not what you want. The setting is 0-9. I have it on 6 and after about an hour, my back feels like it is lying on a hard brick. If i turn it down to 5 or 4, my back feels better but the hip and sacrum hit hard mattress and it is not comfortable at all. 25 year paraplegic and have tried many different devices. Would not waste my money with thigs one.
