So simple and quick. No hassle, no heating in microwave. Worked perfect. And my elementary students no longer remind me of the "jungle up there!"

I got this in the hopes of being able to remove nose hairs more easily and save time. The box comes well packaged, with 2 inner boxes - 1 containing a good number of wax sticks (kindof like a q-tip with a wax end), and a plastic scraping tool. The 2nd box contains the device, and there's also a short length USB C cable to plug into the device. The device itself doesn't seem too heavy duty but it's just a simple heating compartment when you screw off the top half designed for the wax sticks to be inserted while it heats up.It was a bit confusing at first interpretting the instructions, but you must press the power button so it turns red which means it's heating up. Once it reaches a target temperature it blinks blue and you should remove the wax stick and insert it to your nostril (or ear) and let that sit for a minute. The heating takes 3-4 minutes so it would take about 5 or so minutes per nose.Upon testing I found it didn't get hot enough so I'd recommend leaving the wax stick in a tad bit longer, and I had to redo the same nostril multiple times to get enough of the hair out which took even longer. It is also a bit hard to reuse the wax stick since the hairs become ingrained into the wax tip, but you can still reuse it just less effectively.I'd say it is moderately effective since it took 2-3 applications per nostril, and because of this it didn't save significant time in just trimming the nose with clippers or manually plucking. I suppose it is less discomfort than manual plucking though since it does a lot in one pull. Cleaning out the wax from the heating device is also a bit of a pain but that's to be expected with leftover wax residue.

Karite electric nose/ear wax warmer kit came in a sealed package with each individual components nestled inside the black carton. There is a short USB charging cable for power, a separate box of 30 pieces of individually wrapped waxing sticks and another box that contains the actual warmer. 2 white plastic cleaning sticks to remove melted wax from warmer are also included (located inside applicator box). A set of paper instructions are included but they are very vague.To get the warmer prepped plug the USB cable into a USB power supply, a blue light will start to flash on the warmer unit. Unwrap the wax applicator and load it into the warmer unit, handle down into the labeled side of the unit and lock the lid on, have to line up just right or lid won’t stay on. Press the power button and hold until light changes to solid red. The unit heats up fairly quickly and will flash blue again when done. I found that leaving the wax in the warmer for another minute or so makes the wax a lot more pliable so it inserts easier into the intended target, which in my case is my ear. I left the wax in for 2-3 minutes before pulling out. The 1st time I only got a couple of hairs on the applicator but the second time I had quite a bit more since the wax was quite a bit softer.I didn’t feel that it the wax was too warm after removing and placing in my ear and it wasn’t overly painful to use. The wax applicators are definitely not as messy as regular waxing methods and easier to contain plus you can only insert the wax applicator so far before the little tabs won’t allow you to push it in any further. I do feel that the wax applicators could use quite a bit more wax on them so that it can grab more hairs so you aren’t having to repeat the process several times to get everything. The length of the waxing stick to me was just right to hold onto, not too short or too long. I also didn’t have any problems with the wax coming off the applicator stick when removing from my ears once wax was set either.To clean the wax warmer, I found using a paper towel was pretty easy to get up inside and I just twisted it around to get all the wax. I did make sure I cleaned the wax out while it was still warm and pliable, not solid.This is a handy tool to have for bothersome ear and nose hair removal! Plus, with this unit when you run out of the wax applicators you can also buy refill sticks instead of a whole new unit. Since the kit is nicely contained in small packaging this would be easy to take on travel with you and it’s to store in a bathroom on the counter, under the sink or in a drawer.

This waxing kit works as advertised if you follow the instructions and heat the wax well before applying the sticks. It’s painful for sure, especially if you’re not used to removing your hair with wax, but it’s much more effective than doing it with a tweezer.

This device is clearly made for scamming wifes and isnt made to be used.Tested it on ears and nose and barely any hair was removed and it left wax in them that was a pain to remove and would pull like 2 hairs out.Please dont get this and just buy tweezers instead. Its faster and cheaper or go to a spa.Last bit this needs to be plugged in the whole time. No battery. So just no please buy something else.
