Elmer's E861 Carpenter's Wood Filler, 3.25-Ounce Tube, Golden Oak - 2 Pack

The best product for our needs , mostly crafts.

Ok, it is very thick so I warmed it with warm/hot water in the tube before applying. Use latex gloves, a bowl of warm water and disposable rags (to clean adjacent strips because it is incredibly messy. It took a while to dry-I gave it a day or two. But seemed ok. As I said, golden oak runs much lighter than you might think, so be aware. Finally, it has cracked in places with high traffic, so that would have been helpful to know beforehand. Lastly, would I buy again? For emergencies, sure. Otherwise, I'd spend a few bucks more for pro grade stuff.

Matched my golden oak banister perfectly which made filling in cracks a breeze. Easy to use too, like caulk.

The color is good but the product is dry and hard to use. Seems like it is old or the product is just not soft enough to push into nail holes easily. It gets the job done but there are other products that are more pliable making it easier to use.

Great filler for small openings in your wooden floors. I also used it for the carpenter bee holes that I have on the shed. The color matches my wooden floors perfectly.
