Swami Vivekananda always a favourite
The book is all about how and why to do the selfless work. Without expecting anything in return. In one para he mentions that not to expect heaven in return.Just do the duty. He has mentioned that it's very difficult to do.Swami ji's life story has always inspired me and made me curious about his thoughts and I find him the right person in this todays world to guide us towards what's the goal and how to achieve it.

Philosophy of work
Unstable equilibrium of the world, we live , clearly explained.Be good do good doctrine..salvation for mankind. So and so coming to save us..Will not be a lasting one. A hoodwink theory.

In Order To Live You Have To Die
Swamiji's writings still hold true in this era, it feels like applying some balm to heal the pained areas of life and find some answers as to why should we work. It has to be read multiple times to completely absorb it.

Do yourself a favour and read this book
One of the best books I've read in my entire life and I've read a lot of great books by authors including Rabin Tagore and Kahlil Gibran. This book and the words of Swami Vivekananda are an absolute treasure, they open up your mind to a universe that otherwise remains inaccessible. Read it, read it, read it.

Philosophy
Karma is sanskrit for action. The law of cause and effect pervades everything in the manifested, material world. How to live this life without attachment - how to do good without expecting anything in return? Everything goes around and comes back - again and again. We receive the effect of a cause, and the effect becomes cause in the next circle, coming back as the new effect. Vicious circle. This is where renunciation comes in, as the door out of the circle. Read it before, in 1970 - it helped me change my life.
