While the manufacturer doesn't list all ingredients, my experience with similar products suggests it contains fine abrasives (likely silica or feldspar) suspended in a water-based solution with surfactants that break down grease without damaging the glass-ceramic surface. What's most impressive is how the formulation tackles different types of residue, the mild abrasives handle burned-on carbon deposits while the liquid components dissolve grease and sugary spills. I've tested this on several stubborn stains including caramelized sugar from a boil-over incident and burned tomato sauce that had been sitting for days. The results were consistently better than with other products I've analyzed previously. The chemical composition appears to include some form of citric acid that effectively cuts through mineral deposits from hard water without etching the glass surface. There's also a mild solvent component (possibly glycol-based) that helps with oil residue. The manufacturer states it's safe for multiple surfaces including stainless steel and porcelain, which indicates the pH is balanced and not overly acidic or alkaline. I've noticed it requires minimal product per cleaning session - approximately 2-3ml covers an entire cooktop, making the 18-ounce (532ml) bottle extremely economical. The lack of strong fragrances suggests minimal added perfumes, which is preferable for those with sensitivities.

This keeps my stovetop completely clean. I found an added benefit: My tea mugs, even after going through the dishwasher have stains on them and this product takes then off easily. I’m a fan.

This is a wonderful product. My cooktop cleaning routine is as follows. First use a wetted nylon mesh with a few drop of dish soap over the soiled top, moving in circles. This removes nealy all the residues excepts those that have been cooked. Wipe the soapy liquid away with a clean rag and and roughly dry with a paper towel. Then use a traditional razor blade, held at a 45 deg angle and gently attack the cooked stains from their edge (for safety one of blade being covered with masking tape). Wipe the residues away and put a few dop of Cerama Bryte on the selected areas. Wipe energically with a paper towel, running in circles. Once the liquid has dried, buff with a micro fiber towel. After 2 years our cook top looks brand new; the combination of a razor blade (which can be reused many times) and Cera Bryte is perfect.

I've never used a cooktop cleaner before. I'd been using a razor blade on my cooktop (not induction) since I bought the stove 5 months ago, but it wasn't getting off all the burnt residue on it. This Cerama Bryte cleaner helped a lot! I found I need to buy a scouring pad to get it completely clean, though; the Cerama Bryte and razor blade got ALMOST all of it, though, and left my cooktop with a lovely shine, much better than I could get from dish soap or all-purpose cleaner. I was hoping it would require less effort, but that's OK. Good product. I can't dock any stars just because my expectations may have been too high.
