Yep. It works.
We purchased this rooftop bike rack to take three (3) adult-sized mountain bikes on vacation. After about 650 miles of driving in a variety of weather conditions from downpours of rain to blazing heat, this rack did its job & kept our bikes safe and secure on our car. Any concerns and skepticism about the strength of “just suction cups” to secure multiple bikes at highway speeds (and quick stops) have been satisfied. This thing was great. We checked all of the cups each time we stopped & did have one instance early on where one of the front suction cups had lost its grip. It was easy to check, and we had no issues with the bikes moving - the other four held securely, and that one suction cup didn’t give us any more problems the rest of the trip. I like that it can easily be moved from my car to my wife’s. It takes about 3-4 minutes to secure the rack to the car’s roof, and half that to remove it. The entire unit is securely built too. One drawback is that there’s no way to lock the rack onto the car. It wouldn’t be that difficult for someone to make off with your bike(s) and the rack itself. Overall, this Rockbros rack is what I’d hoped it would be, and better quality than I’d expected.

FANTASTIC ALTERNATIVE TO SEASUCKER! Works great! NOTE: For a 15mm x 115mm thru axel stem you need the 15mm x 100mm adapter!
This rack is FANTASTIC as long as it doesn't come loose or un-suction during a long ride... time will tell on that one. So far it seems very sturdy.. .with my bike on it I can pull on my handlebars and the entire car shakes which is great! The bike does sway a bit on turns and bumps but I guess that's to be expected. My only worry is that it sways too much? The way its designed it seems that each time it sways it might actually push the suction on one side down further! As one side pull up the other is pushed down so.... NOTE FOR PEOPLE WITH THRU AXEL WHEELS/FORKS - I have a 15mm x 115mm Thru axel measured at REI from post to end of threads and so I needed an adapter. When asking RockBros AND REI which measurement they are using they said the FULL length of the axel stem......... this is incorrect, the measurement is the DISTANCE between your forks or the Axel stem measurement NOT INCLUDING The threads. Needless to say my 15 x 115mm thru axel works with the 15mm x 100mm adapter. I went crazy trying to figure out if I needed a 115mm axel adapter but just decided to try out the 100mm. It obviously worked and now I can transport my bike!! Note: the manual is brief but it suggests getting the suction cups wet before mounting. This is actually a good idea and helps prevent leaks and makes the suction a tad better. You wouldn't think adding water to your suction cup would be a good idea lol...Wouldn't it make it slide? No it works well and since I suction using my read window for the fork I can actually see the bottom of the suction cups during the ride to make sure they look the same as when I started which they do.

Good idea, but scary
I've had this suction rack for a few years now. It's never failed me, and it's easy to use and store, but I'm a nervous wreck when I have a bike on my roof with just some suction cups. Constantly checking my shadow or reflection on other cars to make sure it's still up there. Good purchase for the money, but if you can afford it, get something that physically locks onto your car. The risk/reward ratio is not favorable.

Best Product for the $
That’s an excellent product! I’m a cyclist and ride regularly 3 times a week about 40mils and long rides on weekends of at least 50/100 miles. I bought a new car and decided to get the rockbros as I don’t have a fixed bike rack on the new car (and won’t be getting one :) - and it worked greatly on my last weekend ride! I drove about about 120miles to and back the event at mostly freeway speeds of 60/65mph (did not go over 70mph. I installation was super easy just make sure you clean the mount location and I did follow instructions leaving the location a bit humid after I cleaned it (according to the manual leaving it bit wet helps) had absolutely no problem mounting my road bike on it and it was surprisingly easy to take it off the roff (to be honest a bit too easy as I expected it to be much harder to take it off) but it held firmly throughout the trip and gave me all the confidence I needed no problem! Again great product quality for the price and I’m very satisfied with it. Thanks!

Gets the job done?
So i purchased the 3 bike rack version even though i will only be carrying 2 bikes at a time, i figured i could use the extra suction cup for insurance. My gf's mtb has the standard quick release on her bike but mines has the newer 15mm so i ordered the Attachment which pretty much suck but work for now... At 9 bucks they are made of polymer "plastic" which are weak and soft. I carried the bikes on 4 trips, "2 outings" mounting and unmounting the bike my fork already falls through the mount. I have to hold it up to align the holes and slide the 15mm quickrelease through. once tight it holds fine and strong. One of the suction cups out of the 5 is somewhat defective. I drive an FRS and mount this on the top of my wind shield due to the roof of FRS being uneven and not flat which doesn't not allow you to mount straight on the roof. (something to think about if you get the 2 or 3 bike one, make sure you have a flat surface for the entire rack) The one suction cup actually sucks and mounts onto the windshield but the press button doesnt ever retain its rebound like it should when the cup is at full suction. I know its retaining suction because its on the windshield and from the cockpit of the car i can see the rubber pressed onto the glass. Ive only had this for a week and ill be testing it extensively. My rack specifically was not brand new and has been opened. if im unsatisfied i will pucker up and Purchase the SeaSucker Branded mount.

After receiving as a Father's Day gift I was a little sceptical given the price differential from the established "ocean brand" Can happily report that it held up flawlessly at freeway speeds. The fork mount needed a little grease on the threads of the QR release, but outside of that it worked just as well for less than half the price

I was actually sceptical about this system and how it would hold but it works fantastically and I have complete confidence in it now. I've even received a few compliments on the setup

Install is a bit to get used to. once you get familiar with it doesn't take to long. Only thing is its way easier to have it on the ground when putting the fork and axle through but not fully tight. Then remove plastic covers and immediately put on car position and tighten. I've Driven up to 110kms/hr on highway with light wind and going easy on turns and bumps. No issues. We'll see how long it lasts. Also wish the velcro strap for back tire could be something else. Would make me feel abit better but sturdy still. The caps for the axle are just pressure fit in the device and move when trying to fit fork on could have been threaded onto device to prevent this. Also sold separately to fit a specific thru axle. Like really making me pay another $15 for plastic circles. Good product if it lasts as it would be catastrophic if it fails
