Mermaid Doll with Pink Fantasy Hair & Headband Accessory, Toy with Starfish-Inspired Bodice & Soft Orange Tail

I bought this doll with the Odile head sculpt, intending to rebody her. But for play purposes, she's a great find (at around $10) for a child or adult collector who appreciates joyful use of color and style in a budget doll. Her long straight center-part pink fantasy hair is soft and nice quality (possibly mid-grade Saran?), and her face sculpt (Odile) is highly appreciated by adult collectors, so she may become difficult to find over time. The mermaid body is stiff with articulation at the neck, shoulders, and hips. The tail snaps in but is not articulated. The tail portion is painted in a lovely orange shade, and the molded-on top has nice painted detailing. Doll comes with an aqua starfish headband that is pretty cute and can be used to style other dolls with a bit of whimsy.

This is a cute and well-priced Barbie mermaid doll, perfect for little ones who love mermaids and bright, fun colors. I got the one with vibrant pink hair, and it’s well-made with nice little streaks of different pink shades that add a unique touch. The articulation is what you’d expect from a Barbie, and the tail piece is soft with a bright orange design. The very end of the tail comes separately in the package, so you do have to pop the fin in, but it’s no problem at all. I imagine the fins might even be swappable with other mermaid dolls in the series, making it a bit more customizable, especially with the different princess-style headbands that come with each model as well. All in all, a great figure that any Barbie or mermaid fan would enjoy!

Cute little doll. I purchased this as a "shoebox gift" that our church sends to needy children for Christmas. She is about the same size as a barbie doll. The colors ate bright . The price was right and quality is very good. I think it will definitely put a smile on the face of a little girl!

Absolutely gorgeous! I’m a new collector and almost didn’t get her and now that I did she is one of my favorite dolls! Her face sculpt is Odile OM (open mouth). She is a perfect match on the boxer made to move.
