First impressions - this is a very well designed mower which performs much better than my previous mower from a well known lawn-care brand. The mower arrived very well packaged with a bottle of oil included. Assembly was simple and amounted to nothing more than the handle, cables and grass box, which was completed in minutes without the need for any tools. No complaints about build quality either. The engine runs smoothly and relatively quietly for a big mower. The mower was very easy to use and cut the lawns beautifully. The best bit for me was the performance of the grass box. It collected every little blade of cut grass which is something my previous mower was poor at. The large box meant far fewer emptyings and the great little box-full indicator worked perfectly meaning I didn't have to keep stopping to check if the box was full. I loved the hose connection to wash the underneath of the deck which took about 10 seconds. My only small gripe is that the owners manual could be better. It doesn't read in any sort of chronological order with the assembly instructions coming half-way through and no mention of the hose-wash feature or how to use it. At the end of assembly I was left with two plastic lugs which again had not been mentioned. I think they are to put in place to hold the rear flap slightly open when using the rear-discharge option but still not sure. However I'm not going to let the owners manual detract from what is a well designed and great performing mower, hence the 5 star rating. I decided not to pay extra for the push-button start, which is no problem for me as the engine starts effortlessly first pull, making this a great mower for a bargain price. Highly recommended.

Bought this to tame a large unruly garden and it is great , doesn't give that immaculate striping but if you aren't making a cricket field then then it is good value for money and seems after a few months use to be very reliable and well built. I recommended it to my sister who has now used one for her half acre garden and has ditched the idea of getting a lawn tractor. It was easy to connect the cables easy to fuel and easy to start - dont think it is worth the extra for the electric start version unless you are inform in which case get someone else to mow the lawn ! It only has a single speed but was fine for me and mows the garden in about 10 minutes that used to take 90 with our old (and small) electric mower, mainly because the clippings only need emptying once as opposed to 20 time with our old machine. It is not much good for extremely long grass as it will not go up high enough just runs aground but that would be the case for anything short of a brushcutter

My old Honda lawnmower was getting tired and rusty, I ordered the Hyundai mower from Amazon, I arrived in 2 days, very well packed, two men delivered the machine and carried it into my garage. The instructions were so good and clear, it even had a bottle of oil included. It was so easy to assemble and started very well with two pulls. it is so sturdy and works well. The best feature is the large wheels which make it easy to move around and get over steps. I would recommend it and will certainly buy it again if I ever need to.

Within half an hour of using it the pull start kept seizing up and badly snatching the hand causing injury. Tried to contact the appointed warranty company with no reply. Tried again several days later finally received a reply from Genpower T/A Hyundai. “This a regulate fault, would I take the top off and say what I see. We will send you a Spare part to fit” NO I would NOT. Then we will collect and repair it. Evidently the pull start was faulty and the decompression vale was jammed in the engine. Eventually it was repaired and returned. Ok four times started and then bang pull start seizing up and then broke. Ok we will have it back repair it and return it. My comment was no way. Well we will collect it any way. I was fraught and upset two months and still had not completed a lawn. The machine when running is powerful and good but starting it is certainly no good. Thank God for Amazon the lady at customer service was efficient, professional, and extremely kind and helpful. Instant refund dispose of it as we wished. THANK YOU AMAZON.

I read the reviews for this mower and was alarmed at some of the negative comments to a point I was considering canceling my order. I am pleased I did not. The product arrived with a two man delivery from Amazon. The guy’s kindly took the box to the rear of my house. You will need help in lifting the machine out of the box. It is heavy. Included in the box is the machines oil. This was not mentioned when purchasing the machine so consequently I bought new oil prior to delivery. Never mind it will keep. Assembly was easy and quick just follow the instructions and guide notes attached to the machine. Be careful when putting oil into the machine it does not take a full bottle as supplied take it easy and check repeatedly until fill level is reached on the dip stick. After putting fresh petrol in. The machine started with the first pull. It as continued to start first time throughout my first lawn cut. In summing up for the money under £300 it’s a well made good looking machine that is comparable with machines costing 3 times the cost.

Not had a lawn to cut since 2008. So wasn't looking forward to my new garden at my new address. Second time out and still loving it. Very easy to assemble as I followed the online tutorial. I had ordered the engine oil separately as it didn't say it came with exactly 600ml of oil in a separate container. But at least I have some to top up with. Cuts like a dream and I like the fact you can attach a hose to clean the blades when it gets mucky. Not hard to manually manoeuvre but the added power to the drive wheels is superb. All 3 of my lawned areas cut in under an hour and no sweat broken by myself. Looking forward to many years of happy grass cutting ahead.
