iLOT 4-Way Tap Connector, Garden Hose Spliiter with 3/4" Tap Connector

As other reviews state, this has two problems. The worst is the seal around the inlet valve has play, which means water squirts everywhere. I improvised by adding another rubber washer, but still did not hold tight. So then I used sealer both sides of the washer / screw.. That seems to be holding it but not sure for how long... Second problem is the screw fittings on the outlet seem to have a slightly incorrect thread... so they leak and need ptfa tape. Its a shame, because the tap itself looks a study piece of kit. As other reviewers state, clearly a quality control issue..

Very well made, very sturdy having lost many plastic ones to freezing conditions I feel much more confident that this will last a long time. The rubber bit at the top is great to hand tighten but slips if you want a really tight grip - other than that it’s a great addition to my garden tap.

Even though I read the reviews I was hopeful I could get this to connect to my tap, which I did by using an additional washer, however the 4 outlets have a non standard thread pitch and you can't screw on standard hose fixings. The threads should be 14 TPI but they are clearly not and are less so you can't screw things on properly. Am returning. Don't order this!

Unfortunately, my experience seems to be the same as almost every other purchaser, The threaded connector doesn't seal properly and, as a result, water sprays everywhere when you turn it on. I can only assume that the manufacturer never functionally tested their product before putting it on the market.

Had to return it. I can only assume that there is a quality control issue - mine clearly had a problem with the thread to the Tap, as it was impossible to tighten to make a seal. Shame, because otherwise what is supplied is top notch and keenly priced. If you get a good one, you will be happy. I didn't!

The 3/4” thread to tap is not standard bsp and needs a spanner to seal, which the black rubber nut can’t take so has to be cut off to expose the brass knurl underneath. Then the thread in the 4 outlets is too large for standard and hoselock connections, with the nozzles a leaky fit for hoselock connectors and won’t fit other makes. Good delivery on a product engineered for a non UK market
