Performance Tool W83208 10" Hose Pinch-Off Locking Pliers

I repair commercial washer and dyers. I bought these to pinch the hoses that go to the water pump. When a pump goes bad and you have a machine full of water it can be a big mess. I use these to pinch the hoses so the water in the tub doesn't empty onto the floor, I can then disconnect the pump and replace it with the only water going on the floor is the water that is in the pump. Once the pump is replaced I remove the clamps and I have a working washing machine with very little mess. I liked these because they were plastic and not metal and I felt more confident that these would not damage the hoses. These do a great job and are holding up well. I have used them about 10 times so far and I see no signs of them wreaking as if yet. Great purchase.

Does the job, seems tobe sturdy

These would have been so nice to have had years ago and would have saved so many messes on my driveway and engine compartment. Very pleased with these and they are sturdy and get the job done with ease. If you don’t have a pair of these definitely get these

These are inexpensive versions of a simple tool to temporarily close off heater and brake lines. They work fine on softer, flexible hoses but are not effective on thicker re-enforced hoses like those for marine use.

These little guys works just as advertised. I needed something that could clamp off some heater hoses so I could replace bad heater core. The space was tight. They worked like a charm. I did not have to fiddle with them. They were lite and easy to fasten. If I never use them again. I did not have to pay a fortune for them.

I ended up with an empty Amazon bag, but I did buy this exact product at a store and they barely work. You have to use a clamp on them to force them to close more. I don’t recommend. Unfortunately I don’t think anyone makes a decent set of these. They all look alike.

For the price I got these at I certainly wasn't expecting much at all. Now that they have arrived I am pleasantly surprised. While I am not a "pro" (meaning I do not pay $60 for a Phillips screwdriver because that is what pros do) I still buy tools once. When I purchase tools I expect that it will be the first and last time I buy a given tool. So, like I said, the expectations were not high for these and just wanted to see what one could get at that price.These clamps are far more sturdier than the price would lead to believe. Yes I went through the price/pro thing but tools can be too inexpensive also. That's when you say "you get what you paid for," but these clamps give you a lot more than what you paid for them.

Pinch off fuel lines without damaging them. The largest one doesn’t clamp as tight as I would like and allowed liquid to leak by the clamp. The midsize one did its job well. Overall got the job done but could have been better.

Like how it comes with three different sizes, easy to use (lock and unlock) and doesn't damage any hoses. Great product. I'll definitely pick up 1 or 2 more just so I have more than one of each sizes if needed.

Does what it's supposed to do. Used the largest one to clamp a coolant hose and it worked well without worrying about damaging the hose. I am happy with my purchase.

Many applications could be used with this simple handtools. The quality is very good too. Its a must have tools when working a lot in cooling system of the vehicle,and also flexible brake hoses and so on....

Perfect. Good range of various hose can be used on. Ex. The larger one can be used on rad jose. Smaller one on brake hose ..... Etc A++
