Used to fasten meshing to poles as part of an animal enclosure. Will be more hard-wearing than the plastic equivalent. Done the job well so far.

Banding tool is good the ties are ok only really suited for small CV boots

The tool is a bit crap, but for the money you can work with it. The straps are the same quality at come with more expensive kit. Much easier to use than the normal cv boot clips. You will need some good quality side cutters to trim the ends though.

Must be better out there, not the best of quality, 3 broke while tightening, so only 2 stars

I wasn't sure what to make of these ties when they arrived, I wasn't sure how they worked, quickly found out that once you close them they aren't coming open again!A good product for a more long term type of use, vermin proof for definite and they shouldn't fade or perish in extensive sunlight like the plastic ones can. In my experience I have had failures where plastic ties have gone brittle due to sun exposure.I will be using these instead of plastic where appropriate, they are a bit of a pain to trim to length once attached, scissors don't go anywhere near cutting the loose end off.A decent heavy duty alternative to plastic cable ties.

If your looking at these then you don't need to be told what there used for but for those who don't know they are metal cable ties that are able to withstand UV, Heat and pest damage. These are nice as they have a black coating over the strap meaning they don't look that much different to normal plastic ones. They are strong and in my limited test held 20kg no problem so should be good to hold 3 phase cable with no issue. At the cost of these at writing being £19.99 and the nearest DIY store to me charging £7.35 for 10 these are a good value and do the same job.
