This is a very nice kit that will delight the crafter and promote imaginative play. There was plenty of stuffing and everything was well made. Lots to like!

This was a good value as it was on sale. My granddaughter enjoyed the activity very much.

I love this kit. I bought it for my 8 year old son, who rejected it and refused to come around. I finally gave up this morning and sewed myself a raccoon. For the price I think this kit is fantastic--the thread is thick and sturdy, the needles are big and blunt enough that they aren’t a big safety worry but they are plenty sharp to get the sewing done. The fact that the box even turns into a tent is darling. The sticker felt arms on the raccoon really made it look cuter. I hope my son eventually decides to try this because it is super satisfying and also adorable.

This is a great sewing kit for a beginner sewer. My 8-year-old granddaughter loves it; she put together about half of the woodland animals within 24 hours.The materials are sturdy, brightly colored felt. The needles are included and are various sizes, but with blunted ends. The thread is really embroidery floss, which works much better than regular thread because it is thicker and easier to use. Needle threaders are also included with the needles which makes threading them a breeze. The holes for sewing the contents together are pre-punched; we did have to poke through some of them.Stuffing is included to stuff the animals and the two girls; my granddaughter chose not to stuff some of the smaller critters. Some of the pieces are stick on-like the honey pot for the bear.There is a mat to play with (photos 2-4), and it is felt as well. The box can also be incorporated for playing.Overall the instructions are clear, but there were some puzzling ones for our kit. I think it may be the same instructions are for both kits, instead of specific instructions for each. For example, our kit mentioned something about dogs, but there weren't any dogs in our kit. It was easy enough to work around and know what needed to be done, but just a bit confusing the first time the instructions were read. I don't know how long the stickers will stick to the felt; those may need to be glued on after some playing.This is a great craft kit as well as a great gift.

This is one of thee cutest & most imaginative craft sets I have come across & had the opportunity to share the experience w/my little one!!! It’s educational & so much FUN at the same time as teaching young & grown a really amazing skill that can be applied to everyday life!!! It comes w/an incredible amount of materials & everything you would need to create this set & even extra materials to start a totally new & different project!!! The quality of the set & materials are great-no issues w/anything at all!!! It’s a great great gift idea & an awesome awesome value!!! This is a DEFINITE WINNER WINNER!!!

This is a nice set for sewing, but I question the inclusion of steel needles considering the recommended age. I was able to access the how-to videos but the person demonstrating never showed how to start a stitch and went way too fast for the target audience. There also wasn’t any explanation of what was happening in the video or why. The stick on pieces are precut and included in the individual bags, and I really appreciate that the manufacturer included a girl of color. The felt is of high quality and brightly colored. The sewing thread is actually good quality embroidery thread. It also has a felt forest background to help build a story with the pieces. One suggestion I would make would be to include Velcro pieces so that the felt pieces stay secure on the background and so the background could actually be hung.

I grabbed this for my kiddo (11) and his friends to do crafts. This kit is actually pretty neat. It's got all the materials to make a bunch of little critters and stuff.We definitely went a bit off book, but it's a great kit. I highly recommend it for peeps with kids who want to learn sewing and crafting.
