Perfect size
Perfect for a day trip or a quick diaper bag. I love how strong the fabric is and how easy it folds back up into the smaller pocket.

Nice small backpack
Nice little backpack that you can stow away very small. It's not big though so don't expect it to be huge. I took it with me on a trip and it was really handy.

Perfect small handy day pack. Sufficient useful pockets for me.
Update 7-9-25: Just got back from overseas trip and used this every day, usually walking 3 to 6 miles/day and wearing it all day. Still think this 20 L size is a good day pack with 2 caveats, and I need to knock a star off because of these items. My son-in-law has the 30 L size that doesn't have these drawbacks, so I'm going to buy that one.1. Comfort: The clips that attach the shoulder straps to the bottom of the backpack are too close to the end of the shoulder strap, and as a result, the clips would eat in to the area under my arm causing chafing and redness under each arm, making this uncomfortable to use for extended periods. For shorter wear times and lighter loads, this will probably not be much of an issue, but it was for me. They should have sewn the clips on the shoulder strap further up so there would be some padding between the clip and your skin. Then it would have worked fine.2. The day pack is not waterproof or water resistant. We were in the rain part of the time and even though I had an umbrella, the daypack still got wet, and my stuff inside also got wet. I recommend spraying it with a rain repellent spray before using it. Then it should be fine.Aside from these two items, everything else I said in my original review below are still good.Original review: This backpack is the perfect size and has plenty of pockets for my travels. I've been looking for something light weight and small but not so expensive that would cause it to have so many extra features that didn't matter. I just wanted a lightweight day bag that would carry enough stuff. I like that it's got 2 smaller pockets on the front, then a middle section, then a larger section. I stuffed my lightweight puff jacket in the larger section along with a light rain jacket, so it carried enough for me. The larger section has a separate tablet/laptop pocket that's handy, and although I didn't use it for that, I did use that to hold my umbrella and selfie stick separate from my other stuff so I didn't have to fish for those things at the bottom of the bag. The middle section held all the other stuff I wanted to keep accessible. And one of the small pockets on the front are used for holding my power brick & cables & bottle of hand sanitizer and I still have room for a few other small items. The top front pocket is what I use for my small miscellaneous things, a copy of my passport, just various other small items that kind of lay flat and aren't bulky - very handy & accessible. The zippers work just fine. Seems to have tight seams, and very functional for me. Color is a light color - kind of dark grayish blue, but not a bright or highly noticeable blueish color that would make you stand out in a crowd.

You won’t be disappointed
We used ours in Alaska on daily excursions. Sufficient room to bring along your necessities for the day. Lightweight and sturdy.

ultra-light. not meant for heavy stuff.
I used to have a backpacking duo, meaning that my travel hiking backpack came with a smaller day-pack. That day-pack ripped and died many years ago. I liked it because it was able to hook to some rings on my backpack while hanging on my front side. So basically I was sandwiched in between the backpack and the day-pack. Anyhow, I recently wanted to replace that day-pack, and had a tough time picking a good choice. This light day-pack is pretty good. I don't know how much moisture it can tolerate, as it did not shower during my trip. However, I was able to carry a 5-subject notebook, a national electrical code textbook, and a tablet - So I could study at the airport during my long layover.I was mindful to always carry the day-pack by the two shoulder straps, instead of the light middle handle. One strap did wear a little even by using the 2 straps, but it held up.Basically, I used this iight day-pack as a place to hold my essentials. First I put my tablet and liquids, for quick check in. Then I switched contents, putting those items in my backpack and putting my textbooks, lunch, passport, boarding passes, and charging cords all in my light day-pack. It did great! In order to make it attach to my front like a kangaroo pouch, I bought a couple of extra items to allow me to attach the day-pack to my backpack. It worked great too!Since the pack does feel a bit flimsy, I made sure to hug it to myself while moving, that way it was always supported. If I ever wanted to use this day-pack as a solo backpack, I would never put anything heavy in it. But water, clothes, snacks, and a tablet should hold up nice.

Great Small Backpacks!
I bought two of these for friends who just moved to Colorado and do a lot of backpacking. They were thrilled with them. They have larger backpacks, but they said that these wereperfect for day backpacking trips. They hold everything they need.
