These onion bits are nice and clean, dry, and have no off flavor. They rehydrate easily and can’t be distinguished from fresh. I appreciate the ease of use and not needing fresh onions stinking up the place.

Always the go-to source for dehydrated onions, which we always use for cooking instead of fresh onions. We were having trouble with fresh onions for the longest time -- rotted quickly, were too strong, not strong enough, etc. This completely changed the equation for us. This is a "must have" in my kitchen and I keep it on hand at all times. It is a great and convenient way to add tons of flavor to my recipes and this kind of item is perfect for those days when you need to cook "something" for dinner but the cupboard is almost bare. If you simply have some leftover roast, some frozen veggies and some dried onion and garlic, you can throw together a great vegetable beef soup. There are so many ways to use this versatile product and I am never without it!I love that it is USA grown in California and it is a ONE INGREDIENT product so that I know what I'm putting in my food. Less expensive at Costco, but since a rarely make it to Costco, I'm glad I can get it here!

I had to look forever to find a product that fit in my criteria. And it wasn't as expensive as many comparable brands sell at. Flavor and quality are very good, surprisingly good. Their garlic is also superb. As long as they don't change things, triple the price, or prove to be fraudulent, I'll stick with them.

Good Costco store brand, good taste, hydrates quickly. I grind a bit at a time for powder.

So pleased to have found this outside of Costco. Flavor is great, price is competitive.

Costco’s Kirkland dehydrated onions are a staple in my pantry. They are shelf stable, don’t excessively smell when rehydrated separately from foods, nor do they require tedious cutting and they don’t mold/sprout in less than ideal storage conditions.The money saved by purchasing the same size and brand in conventional sized bulk packaging, that costs less than at Costco, is definitely a bonus.

When I reconstitute the dried onion it is just as flavorful as fresh. Love using it in my soups and pasta dishes!.
