So... full disclosure- I am not a doctor or any type of expert. I do have a family history of macular degeneration and the thought of going blind when I get old terrifies me. After speaking with my opthamologist and asking about Astaxanthin he said that there are studies that show it can be beneficial. Can be is enough for me to give it a whirl. These supplements are great in the fact.

Honestly, it’s tough to say if this stuff made a big difference, as is the case with most supplements. I felt pretty good while taking it, but I was also taking fish oil at the same time, so I can’t be sure what caused what. That said, the pills are easy to swallow and gentle on the stomach, which is a plus. If you’re looking for a supplement to add to your routine, it’s worth a try, but keep in mind for me personally it was hard to pinpoint the exact effects.

as my husband is aging (in his 40's) he still wants a good workout performance. we all know how age affects our body and he feels that by taking adding this too his vitamin regimen he has noticed that his joints can take weight impact better. he hurts a lot less and he finds that he doesnt need to where his knee compressions as often when working out. so no complaints.

The quercetin seems to work great, but the only change I would make is the black lid on the dark bottle tends to get lost amongst my other supplements. Beyond that it's a good product.

What bought my attention is the mention of positive effects on the brain and memory function.I take these capsules on week days, when I have substantial mental load at work, and hope that this product will help me.All other benefits of Astaxanthin, including anti-inflammation and anti-oxidant I just take as a free addition to the main function I'm looking for.Haven't had any negative side effects from taking this product. So far so good.

I feel I have a lot more energy since taking these supplements but better still I sleep really well now. Repurchased a different brand as these has sold out.

I have not noticed any good or bad side effects.I have PPMS, so quite possible nothing helps.It was worth to try.
