I was pleased at the thickness and height of these socks for my Grandson. They are for Christmas so I don't know how warm they will be, but they sure look substantially thick and warm.

Warm and cozy

These just arrived and are perfect. Granted, I have not washed them yet, so I can't speak of shrinkage, but they are thick, very soft and dense, no seams to cause discomfort. I wear a woman's size 6.5 wide and the 10-13 year old size fits perfectly. The price was great for the quality.
