Would this work as a travertine grout filler?

This is more for spackling nail holes in drywall that closely matches the wall paint color. It would not fill large holes or cracks in grout or seal it but it could cover thin crevices cosmetically if that's all you need and the color matches.

Am looking for a beige-like off-white, not grey or true white, so might that be Artisan White, Situ or another option?

Yes. My walls are an antique white and this worked just fine. One word of warning spackle or brush on lightly because layers make it too dark. Or water it down with a couple of drops to prevent it being too obrious onthe wall.
